boulevard southbound and jump on the schuylkill. you can see headlights here, same story on the boulevard as we head southbound before we get to the schuylkill. i will say this is an area in the 6:00 o'clock hour that gets busy. you can see evidence by how many headlights are out there heading out there right now just factor in maybe a couple extra minutes. all right. couple things here, we have this accident right here 422 eastbound at stowe, right lane compromised and plus we have overnight construction is cleared but head up tonight, tomorrow 422 eastbound is closed between ben franklin highway and route 100, jim, back over to you. we are following breaking news this morning an argument on drexel university's campus lead to a deadly shooting. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do has been following the story all morning long and joins us now live from the campus with more, trang do what is the very latest now. >> reporter: good morning, rahel and jim. investigators are questioning shooters to determine if charges are warranted after he intervene while the couple was arguing here on lancaster

avenue, last night, police say he shot, a drexel student's boyfriend three times. >> this is just something very extreme. >> reporter: shock and dis belief on drexel university 's campus after a 24 year-old man is shot dead during you the fight with his girlfriend just after 11:30 tuesday night. lieutenant john walker says a 23 year-old drexel student and her boyfriend were arguing while walking on the 3500 block of lancaster avenue when a mandy side todd intervene. >> we have a male whose armed with a gun and permit to carry , and some reason intervenes into this situation and he pulls gun and fires three shots. >> reporter: drexel, philadelphia police responded and transported the man to nearby penn presbyterian hospital where he died of his injuries. >> still interviewing witnesses and still trying to figure out what happened what caused these three individual to come together and what caused the individual to fire that gun to fire.

>> reporter: students living near the scene say any kind of violence on campus is extremely rare. >> we have seen like just, you know, typical thing on the college campus, drunk kid walking around but never really violence involved of that nature. >> reporter: man was shot has well as shooter were not students at drexel but police tell us that the man who was killed did attend college in new jersey. for new war live from university city i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news", jim and rahel back to you. thanks, trang do. also, two, 16 year-olds are hospitalized following a car chase a fiery crash near the airport this is view from our traffic camera just before 1:00 a.m. chase began in tinicum township delaware county where police spotted a stolen car. it continued on i-95 north for 2 miles when the crashed near the airport in philadelphia police say the teens are in stable condition. police continue to look for a driver in the hit and run in bucks count that i left one teenager dead and another injured.

this happened along street road near philmont avenue in trevose just after 8:00 monday night. police say the driver hit the two teenagers, stopped to move them, and then sped off. the last night 19 year-old jessica cuts died from her injured. will van arsdal suffered minor , injuries. we spoke with the woman who knows the victim. >> i pray that somebody will come forward, and, somebody that knows this person, knows the person that drives the truck. i just hope that they dot right thing. >> police are new looking for a late model, two tone maroon and tan, or gray, ford pick up just like this one. if you have any information, call the police. this morning, a suspect serial killer is behind bars in tampa, florida, authorities still have unanswered questions. this is 24 year-old howell emmanuel donaldson, the third, just released his booking photo, police say donaldson is responsible for four murders over a two month span all in the same neighborhood.

believe it or not people in hawaii are waking up to snow this morning. >> check out this time lapse video see the moment the storm rolled in yesterday over the big island where mountains were blanketed with snow. it ace parentally not that rare for snow to fall on hawaii's mountains you snow all about that you know, hawaii and everything basically. >> you go far enough up in the

speed as well, jim, over to you. more now on our breaking news an argument on drexel university's campus lead to gunfire killing a college student this happened shortly before midnight on the 3500 block of lancaster avenue, police say a couple was arguing when another man got involved. investigators say a man who intervened had a gun and shot the victim three times. >> when i first heard from my roommate that something happened i was like wow, shocked, you cannot prevent anything, you know you know, stuff happens. >> twenty-four year-old victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. he was a student in new jersey his girlfriend is a drexel student was not injured. police say the alleged shooter has a permit to carry a gun. twenty-nine year-old joshua hupperterz faces a judge today. he ace accused in the august death of 21 year-old temple student jena burleigh. hupperterz killed burleigh after the two had myth at a north philadelphia bar,

authorities say that hupperterz used ride service lyft to transport burleigh's body to his property in northeastern pennsylvania. neighbors will hold a vigil on the block where homeless man was beaten to death in mayfair. this is victim kevin cullen, they say he was rob and attack and then died hour later. police are looking for a group of five teens suspect in that beating death. neighbors described hearing the head hit the wall, and victim's brother say cullen began having trouble after his father died 10 years ago. >> you would talk to him, you know, he was a very bright individual, he just had demons that in of his family members could ever make sense out of, and we all tried to help him. >> police say one of the teens left behind a phone at the scene of the crime, surveillance camera captured those teens running from the scene. after nearly two months of terror a florida neighborhood can finally exhale, authorities in tampa have

captured seminole heights killer. correspondent john lawrence has details. >> reporter: fifty-one days after the first mysterious fatal shots were fired an arrest is made. >> in the battle between dark ness and light, light has won. >> reporter: so-called alleged seminole heights killer is in custody. >> we will be charging four counts of first degree murder for howell emmanuel donaldson the third. >> reporter: the 24 year-old donaldson is accused of killing four people over past two months. police say there does than the seem to be a connection between the four victims, they were all shot within a half mile of each other. for the past few weeks police have been scouring area looking for lead, authorities say they received american 5,000 tips. on tuesday afternoon police were called to the the city. >> we received some information about mr. donaldson having a firearm at the mcdonald's, one of his
