the road, i think it will only get worse, take a look at the visibilities, we turn our focus first, pretty bad. not even confined to single spot. you go in reading, below half mile. go into the a.c. airport, below a mile. and you've good this variety going on, all across the region, visibility has gun to drop. the one spot out at mount pocono, up to 10 miles there, but also keep in mind, that these numbers, while they do provide a good guide, are strictly for the observation sites reporting. so just because it says it is 4 miles at philadelphia international airport, doesn't necessarily mean that the entire city of philadelphia is up that high. it could be lower t could be better really. just depending where you are. so i would caution that you this is something you will run into. i do think it will be a problem right through the entire morning commute if not even beyond that point. now, storm scan at the moment is quiet. that will stay that way. we do have a pretty substantial pattern change that eventually wait in the wings for us. but we are off to cold start. into the 20's in lancaster, reading, mount pocono, cold

we're told the fire quickly grew to two alarms. crews were able to place it under control just before 11:30 saturday night. no one was hurt. >> well, one week after a homeless man was beat tone death in mayfair philadelphia police have three teens in custody. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at police headquarters where authorities plan to charge the juveniles as adults. trang, good morning. >> good morning, rahel, joy. police tell us these teens could be arraigned as early as this morning. meanwhile, people who knew this man who was so savagely beat ren finding some comfort inn these arrests. >> kevin cullen was homeless but he had a community in mayfair where he quietly roamed the streets until a week ago sunday evening. when police say group of teenagers beat him to death. neighbors remain stunned. >> some of the neighbors new him as being a homeless man, he never bothered anybody. >> it is sad, sad to see what this neighborhood would go to. >> a memorial quickly went up

4200 block of laurence street calling for justicement week later sunday afternoon police announced three arrests. with plans to charge all three teens in custody as adults. >> i hope so. i hope so. i really hope so. >> a woman parking her car a block away from the scene of the crime said she found a crucial piece of evidence. just minutes after the beating a cell phone left behind in the attackers rush to get away >> i thought maybe this is one of their phones, next thing we know, the thing starts running , instagram live. that will was one of the guy's phones. >> police believe the motive for the brutal attack was robbery. >> i don't think the man had a dime on him or a cell phone, so they beat him for nothing. >> now because these teens are expected to be charged as adults, we should learn their identities later today. they are expected to be charged with murder. but for now, live outside police headquarters, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," joe, rahel, back to you. >> such disturbing case, thank

you for the details. >> camden county prosecutor offers is investigating shooting involving county metro officer. happened early sunday morning on sick more street in camden, officials say police were investigating reports of gunshots when they ran into and exchange dollars gunfire. officer recovering at cooper university hospital. officers were not hurt. they're on administrate of leave until the investigation is over. >> the cause of deadly apartment fire in gloucester township camden county remains under investigation this morning, that blaze killed a father and left his wife and ten year old daughter injured. the flames broke out early sunday morning, as of blackwood falls apartment, 200 block of wash area. firefighters from eight different townships scramble to contain the fire, rescue the three victims from the burning unit. neighbors watched in disbelief >> when they drug him out, he was not moving. little girl came out, her hair was on fire, we witnessed that we stood there and watched it. this is like a movie. >> no word on the conditions of the two survivors, the names of the victims have not yet been released.

>> cyclists here in philadelphia are calling on the city to expands its efforts, in keeping them safe, that is following a crash last week that killed one of their own. now, several dozen bicyclists took off on the art museum, lemme fredericks memorial ride fredericks died last tuesday, in a crash involving a trash truck, 11th and spruce, in center city. riders hope that the public demonstration or crews will beat up discussions on bike safety across the city. >> with harrassment, with unsafe drivers, and that is part of our culture, in philadelphia, that we do need to improve. >> the changes that we want, and the improvements that we want, is for everyone's safety , and to prevent tragedies like this. shouldn't have happened. >> some of those proposed changes include requiring trucks to be outfitted with side guards, and repainting bike lanes, where the fatal crash happened. emily frederick, from north jersey, will be laid to rest later today. >> the legal battle over president trump's reveals dollars travel ban has two

>> good morning, 4:42, southwest airlines is investigating why one of its planes had to make an emergency landing last night. the jetliner was on it way from sacramento to orange county california when burning smell was reported in the cabin. pilots safely landed the plane at los angeles international, as a precaution, those passengers eventually got on their way, no word yet on what caused the burning smell. >> alabama special senate election just over a week away , while many believe the race to be a toss-up, new cbs pole puts republican roy moore ahead of the democratic nominee, doug jones. the pole also found the imagine or tiff alabama

flowing, not enough to scour out the fog. also, on top of that, got really low sun angle at this time of the year. that's not going to hepburn this off, as we like to say, or help scour it away, until the morning at the earliest. so expect that. for now re also have to tell but coastal flood advisory, have such strong high tide courtesy of the very breitbart and close moon that is out there. so expect that you may run into some very minor coastal flooding. along the delaware beaches, also, in some of the bay areas , that is true for new jersey respect as well, goes until 1:00 p.m. next high tide comes in generally between 7:30, 8:30 this morning, will need time to recede. storms pretty quiet at this hour, will stay that way throughout the day. eventually skies do clear out. but this next storm is the one that really is going to bring about the change. it ushers in some colder air, arctic high pressure will take it place later in the week, will also bring in some rain specially late in the day tomorrow. we get through today without any problems. we just put things into motion we get new tuesday, here it comes. no severe weather, certainly,

but it will be strictly rain producing event for us primarily in the pm hours, note as early as the morning there could be some rain comes in, heaviest certainly late tuesday night, into well i wednesday morning, soy he suppose the timing could be worse. even same time tomorrow could be wet weather to track. so again, that's the next chance for rain. for now, though, meisha, it is really all about the fog. >> all about the fog. you got t all right, katie, thank you so many. so yes, what we are looking outside right now, good morning by the way, vine at 95 , you can see the haze in the roadway. overall things are looking actually pretty good this morning. so, volume levels, clearly still light before we reach 5:00. some of these camera shots, actually looking pretty good. boulevard at fox street, looking good, all things considered, schuylkill at the blue route, another one that's actually looking all right. movement starting to pick up maybe ever so slightly, but before 5:00 we just don't really need to worry. however on a monday we know it will pick up quicker than other days of the work week. construction new jersey, crews are still out here, 59 north between 29 and 579. one lane still compromised

far this morning, finding visibility under a mile, even under half mile in some spots already, very likely get worse before it can get better. not to say it will stay clear with sender city philadelphia area, but at least the fog is happy. so not, you know, like the entire region is enveloped in this dense fog, but i feel like sometimes patchy fog can even be a worse issue whenyou'rl through it, because it comes up on you quick. you don't necessarily see it coming. so, just keep it in the back of your held you could come across it, storm scan at least quiet. we will see some clouds rolling through here today. generally, as that fog lifts, later this morning, the skies will, in fact, clear out. see more sun than anything. our daytime high hits about 54 d for now. even later on tonight. we are expecting to see the temperature drop only into the mid 40's. so it is quite the change every pace from where we currently stand. you're at or just slightly above the freezing mark, or below it, i should say. out toward wilmington, trenton only checking in at 28 at this hour, below freezing in allentown, too, so it is a cold start. we still rebounds to above
