and mild certainly for what's average. now, you will note, i'm still wearing a scarf and winter coat. i would liely suggest you do the same. because of the cold that's in place, even though it is eventually going to be above average here today, we actually have some issues with freezing on the roadways, because, there is just enough moisture content in the atmosphere right now to have allowed fog to form, especially true for the northern counties if you run into maybe what looks like a damp road, it is not, because of any precipitation falling, rather, it is freezing fog, it could have led to some black ice. so you've got to be extra careful out there this morning , fog, also, an issue for good portion of our area. now looking at storm scan3, it is all quiet at the moment. we, however, have the cloud cover. settling in, allowing the visibilities to drop off. quite variety pack here, anywhere from almost 10-mile visibility up in the resort towns, down toward the shore points, to at or under half mile. so, it just depends where you're going, how far your travels will take you, may or may not run into the fog. but be on guard for t

sometimes i feel like patchy fog as opposed to widespread fog can cause more problems it , comes up on you quickly, just keep that in mind as you travel. thirty-six is the current value at the airport. we're at 29 in mount pocono. but can with calm wind it doesn't feel terribly harsh, as the day progresses the fog will in fact lift but, yes, even though 54 is technically 5 degrees above average, even warmer tomorrow. and with time, there is a major pattern change coming, meisha, we might even be talking about little snow this this seven day. >> wow. i am anxious to see how many want that white christmas, some do, some don't. let he know how you feel. dealing with the fog, that's going to be the one thing this morning that poses ash ooh for us, we know monday mornings, they do get fairly slow, fairly quickly. now only at 5:30 in the morning, 5:33, as wu push toward the 6:00 hour, this is when we start to see things change little bit. the fog will not help us. so 422, headlights eastbound direction, past observation, volume not issue. actually looking pretty good there.

kevin cullen was murdered in the 4200 block of logger street last sunday night. now, neighbors say that cullen was quiet man, who roamed about the street, and they say didn't bother anyone. we spoke with the woman who found one of the suspect's phones about a block away from where cullen was killed. that's a key piece of evidence for detectives. >> so maybe be this is one of their phones? next thing we know, the thing starts ringing, instagram live that was one of the guys phones. he ran down the block and dropped it. >> police yesterday arrested the owner of that phone, and the other teens, who targeted, robbed, and beat cullen, according to investigators. now, police say all three of the teens are under 18, but they'll be charged as adults. trang do will have a live report that's coming up on " eyewitness news" at 6:00. >> cyclists here in philadelphia are calling on the city to expand its effort in keeping them safe. this following a crash last week that killed one of their own. several dozen bicyclists took

road here, but even the sunset , absolutely gorgeous yesterday. so, thanks for those pictures, guys, really came out beautiful. again let's jump it past the fog issues, talk about what's down the pike here. so here is a look at the big picture, and the storm, the first of two, that is going to have some impact on the east coast, this comes through as a frontal passage. when that front does cross tomorrow it, comes through simply as rain producer, on tuesday. there could be little bit of mix that takes place early wednesday, but here you go. into tomorrow, front crossing g cents, into the 60s, only rain fishily. but as the colds air begins to catch up, come on, clicker, there you go, start to see the possibility of some icing mixing in early wednesday morning, mow of you will have textures high. then comes the next storm, this is the guy that could bring in some snow. notice, this is primarily south and east, so if we see it at all, very likely will happen southeast of philadelphia, getting closer every things become a lot more of the, give you morphine

tuned forecast, but keep it in the back of your head as it gets awfully cold later this week, there could be some flakes flying. >> look at that dropping down to low 40's, all right, katie, thank you so much. very good morning to all of you. just looking at the fog this morning, and starting to see levels build right now, we can expect them as on a monday morning push toward the 6:00 hour, and that's exactly what we're seeing, the boulevard push in the southbound direction, once you're trying to get on to the schuylkill westbound, getting to some bumper to bumper action here, letting know that clearly not traveling at posted speeds, in fact, really starting to slow down now, once you jump on to the schuylkill, westbound, right around city avenue, you can see, it is not much better. maybe eases tension ever so slightly, but don't look at this. because we know every ten minutes, especially on monday morning, this is really going to heat up nicely now, especially looking at the boulevard seeing/how busy it is there. fifty-nine south at cottman push in the southbound direction, starting to heat up here as well, just sea of headlight. still traveling at posted speeds, probably won't be for a much longer.
