of it is patchy, because you don't have the really poor visibility everywhere necessarily but yes now you can barely see anything in the shot. i show it to you for the reason that you can't see anything in the shot. if you watch us routinely outside elementary school here in reading shall see not just the roadway but cars driving through it. you barely make out street lamp off in the distance there so the fog is thick here. this is potential for the type of visibility that you'll find elsewhere as you travel this morning, so please be careful storm storm scan quiet. that the the other point if it looks like it could be damp on the roadway no rain in the forecast so actually black ice from the fog freezing on contact. thirty-six is the current value at the airport. chilly start to the morning. but with time, we will actually rebounds, mid 50's is the expectation, five solid degrees above average we take that with time the fog also thins out. but, do not get used to this, quote unquote mild air. meisha, there is a huge temperature plunge coming i'll

let you below that gets here. >> i guess tis the season. katie thank you so much. very good morning to all of you. hey guys, happy monday. looking at the ben franklin bridge, starting to heat levels now for those every you in jersey traveling westbound into center city. you can see eye want to say bumper to bumper conditions but starting to see the a shift. if you are headed out to the ben right now or any too many soon in the next 15, 20 minutes start to give yourself couple of extra minutes, primarily looking at so much fog out there. then 422 taillights moving in the eastbound direction. this is near route 29, seeing a lot of brake lights, so again, that's another area with the fog that you might want to give yourself couple extra minutes. taillights moving in the northbound direction, you can see what you are working with, there both directions, starting to heat up. again, some brake lights going off. now, really as we progress little deep near the 6:00 hour real when we start to see some bumper to bumper conditions if we're not already. then overnight crews on 422 eastbound talking more about this coming up in the next ten minutes or so. rahel, joe back to you. >> meisha thank you.

>> onto more serious news this morning and new this morning police is her clinic for killer after a man is stabbed to death inside his home in south philadelphia. it happened on the 1200 block of south johnson street, just after 1:00 a.m. officers found six a year old man stabbed in the abdomen, pronounced him dead at the scene. investigators still trying to figure out a motive for the attack. >> philadelphia police arrest three teens, one week after a homeless man was beaten to death on a mayfair street. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do, live at police headquarters where officials say they'll be charging the juveniles as adults. trang, good morning. >> good morning rahel and joe police tell us that these three teenagers could be arraigned as early as later on this morning. on murder charges meanwhile people who knew this man who was so savagely killed, are finding comfort inn these three arrests. >> kevin cullen was homeless, but he had a community in mayfair. where he quietly roamed the streets, until a week ago sunday evening. when police say a group of teenagers beat him to death. neighbors remain stunned.

>> some of the neighbors new him as being a homeless man. of course, they say he never bothered anybody. >> it is sad, sad to see what this neighborhood would go to. >> a memorial quickly went up the 4200 block of loren street calling for justice. week later on sunday afternoon police announced three arrests with plans to charge all three teens in custody as adults. >> i hope so. i hope so. i really hope so. >> a woman parking her car a block away from the scene of the crime said she found a crucial piece of evidence, just minutes after the beating a cell phone left behind in the attacker's rush to get away. >> i thought maybe this is one of their phones, next thing we know the thing starts ringing instagram live. that was one of the guy's phones. >> police believe the motive for the ebola al attack was robbery. >> i don't even think the man had a dime on him or cell phone. so they beat him for nothing. >> and police initially said that as many as five teenagers participated in this attack. so far no word if any more

arrests are expected. but for now, live outside police headquarters, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," joe rahel, back to you. >> trang thank you. >> in trevose bucks county candlelight vigil head for the victim every deadly hit-and-run as police continue to look for the driver. loved ones every jessica kurtz gathered last night to release balloons in her memory. the 19 year old was killed last monday after being hit by a pick-up truck along street road. her 18 year old boyfriends, william van arsdale continues to recover from injuries, he sustained in the hit-and-run. investigators say, they have at least one person of interest in the case. >> the cause every deadly apartment fire in gloucester township camden county remains under investigation this morning. father was killed, his wife and daughter injured. the flames broke out early sunday morning, at the blackwood falls apartments, the 200 block of washington avenue. firefighters from eight different townships scramble to contain the fire. and rescue the three victims from the burning unit. meanwhile, neighbors watched

and westbound. report after accident, 422 eastbound near limerick linnfield, showing some green over night construction. more coming up in the next ten to 15 minute or so. joe, rahel back to you. >> meisha, thank you. high school soccer coach expect in the court today after he went miss wag student >> kate was found safe friday in up-state new york with 27 year old ryan rodriguez the two went missing over thanksgiving weekends. rodriguez coached boys soccer where she went to school in north florida the disappearance led to nationwide search. police are looking into a potential relationship between the man and the teen. >> very sad update now to story we have been following. authorities in north carolina believe they have found the remains of three year old moriah woods the body discovered in a creek over the weekend. the little girl had been missing since last monday, the mother's boyfriends has since been arrested and charged with concealing the death and other offenses. investigators are not saying how the little girl died. >> president trump taking aim at the fbi as the

investigation into his campaign ties to russia continue. voiced frustration on twitter and defended firing of michael flynn. shear cbs news correspondent brook silva bragga. >> president trump targeted the fbi in a pier every tweet sunday writing in part, that the bureau ''s' reputation is in tatters worse in history. the president of the f.b.i. agent association responded, agents act with un waivering integrity and professionalism. this latest was smacker by presidential tweet saturday, message sources now tell cbs news was actually crafted by mr. trump's lawyer. it suggested the president new general mike flynn lied to the f.b.i. before firing him. some suggest if he did know that and then asked then fbi director james comb toy drop investigation into flynn that might be obstruction every justice. >> dialogue the president disputes, he tweeted sunday, i never asked comb toy stop investigating flynn just more fake news, covering another

with someone dealing with diabetes. - there are some things that people often may not hear about that are associated with diabetes and we're trying to learn more about those. things like hearing loss alzheimer's and dementia and certain forms of cancer. we're learning more, and we need to learn much more about why and how those are associated, and what to do. - another thing i don't know if everybody thinks about, is that there is a connection between the opiod problem, that we hear about all the time in the news and dealing with diabetes. what's the connection? - well, with diabetes there can certainly be a damage to the nerves and that causes pain. so people need pain management. in the case of diabetes, opioids are not the first or second line recommendations due to their addictive quality and the fact that there are other side effects of them. but, there are some options for pain management in those with diabetes and the bottom line is people need to work with their physician or health provider to get the right pain management for them,

but i would say it starts to about 8:00 9:00. keep in mind the visibility quite poor. incredibly poor at the city core. at the moment on storm scan3 though very quiet. there is no rain in our forecast yet anyway. so if you end counter what looks like damp road it could be froese end over. watch for potential of black ice, freezing on contact. temperatures flirting with or just above of froose egg mark. and at least the winds is calm but, it is chilly out here with time we do eventually rebound however. mid 50's from the shore up to the city. and with time, also, this fog will in fact lift and break for some sunshine. meisha? >> yes, it will be nice to get relief from the fog katie. it is posing a problem for us, getting very busy out here, pull your attention first to the boulevard push in the southbound direction still looking at this about a half hour ago bumm for bumper conditions there trying to get out to the schuylkill.

same story. just more and more vehicles are headed out there. traveling less than posted speeds and then once you jump on to the schuylkill westbound at city avenue, take a look at this, gorgeous skies there. down the roadways, where we will have some problems because like i said it is bumper to bumper, no longer traveling at posted speeds, you will have to give yourselves extra time, especially particularly, the schuylkill westbound at city avenue. when you look past, see the lights from the vehicles going by by, eastbound not quite as busy as the westbound side. but obviously eastbound site give yourselves extra time, there as well. 422 past oaks, same story give yourselves extra time there, accident, 422 eastbound near limerick linnfield, so route 663 at jerry ville pike another one watch this one as well, north 11 street at 66 avenue. if you are just headed out the door. just a heads up. give yourselves extra time this morning rahel joe back to you. >> no perfect ten for the eagles. >> the seattle seahawks handed

seven tax brackets, but changes the race. the house has four brackets. talks about merging the bills comes as congress faces a deadline. if lawmakers can't pass spending legislation, it is not related to the tax bills by friday, there may be a government shutdown. and there is a chance republicans will need some democratic votes to prevent that. >> if going into next year the economy hasn't gotten better for the vast majority of americans, that's where the price will be paid. >> john loyer ends cbs-3, " eyewitness news." and this morning, three teen will be charged as adults after police say they beat a homeless man to death in mayfair last week. fifty-seven year old kevin cullen was murdered, along the 4200 block of logger street last sunday night. cullen was well known in the community. neighbors say he was a quiet man, who didn't bother anybody a woman was parking her car a block away from where cullen was killed, when she found one of the suspect's phones, a crucial piece of evidence.
