>> reporter: ukee, this is bay czar case a lot of activity here forensic detectives from delaware state police at day one motel in wilmington claymont border and authorities they are very tight-lipped here. it has been going on for four hours. they will say it is a death investigation. tow trucks arrived on the scene just after 5:00 in the parking lot of the day one motel on governor prince, the detectives with delaware state police, rushed to the scene, after 2:30 when the call came n we heard from an employee of the motel that a handicapped man was staying inside the room now a crime scene, detectives are calling this, simply a death investigation, and won't get into specifics. >> detectives are on the scene with troop one police, patrol personnel, and they are currently initiating a death investigation and it is very, very early stage. >> reporter: but authorities will say with complete confidence, that this crime scene is an isolated one, they are not looking for a suspect. >> we have no information that lead news that direction, as of right now, we are confined

to this came scene a loan. >> reporter: weeing looking live at that door, that is door in question, how many people dead inside, we do not know, authorities expect to go tell us more, when they are cleared to tell us more, but again we are told that there is not a suspect out there, public does not need to worry, this is an isolated incident but we are trying to find out exactly what happened, waiting for authorities, to tell us, reporting live tonight from wilmington at day one motel, david spunt for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> david, thank you. three lincoln high school students are now facing murder charges as adults for beating death of a man in mayfair. they are identified as emmanuel harris, 16 year-old malik page, and 14 year-old brandon conrad. police arrested them yesterday , these teenagers are accused of fatally beating 57 year-old kevin cullen unconscious november 26th. he died the next day. authorities say that the teens attacked cullen, to rob him.

>> committing robbery is not answer for important dumb, it shouldn't be a right to pass age and it had tragic consequences. >> all three teenagers are being held, without bail and preliminary hearing has been set for december 20th. meek mill remains behind bars tonight in a pennsylvania state prison after judge presiding over his case denied rapper's request for a bail hearing. in a 119 page opinion judge brinkly wrote mill is a flight risk and danger to himself and community. entertainer's lawyers urged the judge to reconsider a two to four year sentence handed down last in for probation violations. they plan to appeal today's decision and they are calling on that judge to step aside. proposed legislation in philadelphia on nuisance businesses is calling on the removal of bullet-proof glass windows that act as a barrier. those in the stores say it is a matter of safety. member of the city council say they are disrespectful to customers. anita oh joins us from city

hall with both side of the debate, anita. >> reporter: good evening, ukeement this proposed bill tries to strengthen requirements for businesses to keep or obtain a liquor license. large establishment would need seating for 30 people and public rest room but it also includes one requirement that has many business owners fighting back. >> i think they are absolutely gambling with lives. >> reporter: proposed bill to regulate stop and go businesses in philadelphia would also require some businesses to take down physical barriers, including bullet-proof glass. a pint of contention that drew hundreds of protesters to city hall on monday. >> people wouldn't have bullet-proof glass if it wasn't needed. >> reporter: family owned business restaurant and dell any north philadelphia she supports the bill without that provision add ago this violent incidents caught on surveillance video could have ended differently without glass, council woman cindy bass who sponsors bill says it is meant to target businesses violating laws or using loop holes.

glass it exist in the bill for a reason. city council is spoke vote on this legislation on december 14th. live from city hall tonight i'm anita oh for cbs-3 eyewitness news. republicans are moving full speed ahead with their effort to revamp tax code and cut both corporate and individual taxes. senate passed its version of the tax cut bill early saturday morning, and work has now begun to iron out differences with the house version of that bill. pennsylvania senator pat toomey voted for the measure. >> it definitely lowers tax burden of low income and middle income working families that is unambiguous fact. vast overwhelming majority virtually all low and middle income family willow less tax money to the federal government when this becomes law. >> democrats argue that the republican plan for the tax code is a give away to the rich. much more, on the tax reform plan coming up on the "cbs evening news" and starting tonight jeff glor takes over the anchor chair.

things are looking different in ocean city. chopper three over construction site where boardwalk has been completely demolished between tenth and 12th streets. it is all part of a five-year plan for new board. reconstruction work is expected to be complete in time for beach goers and will open up as earl as march of next year. governor tom wolf signed a proclamation declaring this first week of december cancer screening week, 11 other governors are have joined life saving campaign. >> health reporter stephanie stahl, with the details. >> we know surviving cancer depends on early detection. doctors say it is improved but too many people, still are not getting screened with mammograms and colonoscopies.

well, cancer screen week, that starts today aimed to change. that one main line mom knows just how important that is. >> they give you a mammogram. >> reporter: joan bradley who works at main line health cancer center wasn't that shocked when she ended up being a patient too. >> i had two sisters who had breast cancer, i had dense breasts. >> that increases breast cancer wrist thank can be hard to find way routine mammogram. >> that abnormalities is not pick up on this mammogram even though it was there. >> reporter: joan was first to go through main line health's high risk breast cancer program where an mri revealed that she had cancer. >> it is early detection that gives you the best outcome. >> reporter: that is what governor wolf hopes to accomplish with the proclamation encouraging everyone to get their recommended screenings for all types of cancer. part of the program includes taking a pledge to get screened where people will get a personalized list of recommended tests and tips on lowering their risk. >> i wish my hair looked that cute as cute as it did with

the wig on. >> reporter: joan's hair is growing back now after radiation, she had a lump removed and chemo. >> nobody wants to commit to the cancer center but i'll tell you you will do fine and you will get through this well and a couple people i said, you know, difficult this and look at me. i'm perfectly fine. >> reporter: she's perfectly fine. joan has been administrative assistant in the radiation department for 13 years. she has two grown children. doctors say early detection with breast cancer and all other malignancies reduced by 25 percent, the overall cancer death rate in the united states over the past 20 years, that is proof these screenings work and they save lives. >> hear, hear. >> amen to that. >> thanks. a four legged member of the evesham police department suited up today during a special presentation. >> k-9 muse was present with ballistics body arm or to protect him from gunshots to possible knife attack. it was donated to the department by capitol k-9

before it is technically winter but we are sitting pretty so far this year. we have not had a lot in the way of harsh cold. it does look cold. temperatures 10 degrees below average. wilt take a while. lets start out with is what happening outside, live look at center city see a few cloud there in the sky over the city cloud have moved in this afternoon after some sunshine earlier today, cloud taking over tonight into tomorrow and we will see some rain popping up but likely not until first thing tomorrow morning. storm scan three showing those cloud, again moving from the west, that is where our cold front is. is there a warm front right now you can see center over great lakes one front down to the south and cold front way back here. that doesn't come through for us until possibly 24 hours for now, tomorrow around this time and it could last as long as wednesday morning as i will show new a moment. as we await the arrival of the front this here ahead of the front is warm, behind it, big, big changes, cold air is lurking and heading our way as
