fernrock section. the 5700 block of north camac street just after 12:30 a.m. officers found the man shot three times and rushed him to the hospital. he is in critical but stable condition. short time later another man who was also shot showed up at the hospital. authorities say that second man fits description of the first man gave of his shooter. investigating believe the two men shot each other. another overnight shooting leaves a man dead in kensington this happened in the 700 block ofe madison street. police responded around 1:30 and they found the victim lying on the street, officers are still trying to figure out what motivate that had shooting. search is also on this morning for gunman who opened fire at corner store in kensington critically injuring a man inside. >> several others inside the store including an 11 year-old girl. at temple hospital, police are continuing to search for the person who shot him and just narrowly missed hitting that 11 year-old girl, but look at the video from the scene last night in kensington, just after 8:00 p.m. police respond todd a shooting at a corner grocery store at amber and bellmore streets. officers arrived to find a 22-year old man with the gunshot wound to the chest. they rushed him to temple hospital where he remains in critical condition. police say gunman fired at least seven shots from outside the store, why the victim was standing near the doorway, bum et cetera flew flew pennsylvania several other customers and employees inside this store. chief inspector scott small says one employee was hurt. >> 22-year old female working behind the register was hit and cut in the neck by broken glass from the gunshots being fired. an 11 year-old is clearly scene, she was standing right at the front counter just feet away from the door where the bullets entered the property.

>> reporter: again, that 11 year-old was not hurt. the shooter was wearing a dark jack wet white lettering on it , dark pants and white, sneakers, there were several surveillance cameras in the area that captured the shooting and police hope they will provide more clues but for now we are live outside police headquarters i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news" , jim and rahel back to you. thanks to three strangers a woman from north philadelphia ace live this morning after crashing her car in the schuylkill river this happened near 2300 block of ml k drive and the strawberry mansion bridge, police say 61 year-old woman reversed her car in the river around 5:30 last night, when two rowers and coach from the penn athletic club rowing association noticed the car in the water. >> one of the three on that boat jumped in one of the rowers he saw a female in the driver's side of the vehicle, attempted to get her out, was unable to, came backup, went back down and they were able

to get her out and take her down to the pad site where they started cpr. >> medics arrived on the scene and revived would the man. she's now in stable condition. police say it is unclear how long she was in the water with you they believe she may have intentionally driven in the river. philadelphia police are investigating a hit and run that injured a teenager, chopper three over the scene at 63rd and market in cobbs creek shortly after the accident last night. the 14 year-old victim was taken to children's hospital and at last check she was listed in stable condition. out west wall of flames this morning asthmas i have wild fire rips through southern california, more than 150,000 people have fled their homes in the los angeles area. here's cbs news correspondent chris martinez with the very latest. >> it is hard to even putty motions and word together. >> reporter: tracie bird, could do little more than record video of her ventura home of 13 years burning down before her eyes. it is one of at least 150 structures lost in the devastating wild fire in

doctors told his family there is a long road ahead for ridge newly elect upper perkiomen school board members vote to halt construction on a controversial new middle school. the cities located on montgomery avenue in pennsburg so far taxpayers have spent 10 million-dollar on the project. the new majority on the board made the decision after being sworn in on monday night. this project has split the community, some say the school is needed to ease overcrowding but others want to reinvest money in to academics. >> we thought they were solving the wrong problems and we think we can solve the right problems. >> we will be spending, 20, 30 , 40, million-dollar for a big hole in the ground. >> melanie cunningham and three other school board members ran on a platform on stopping the school construction. well, you can now learn more about the life of the civil rights leader at philadelphia history museum. >> they paid tribute to octavius catto during the exhibit's opening. catto was a african-american

back an "eyewitness news" two teens are recovering after they were shot outside their high school in washington state. it happened yesterday afternoon about an hour from seattle. police say two boys ran toward the school after they were shot. officials say both students suffered critical but none in life threatening injuries. police have one, 17 year-old in custody and they are searching for two more suspects. >> once kid are all off campus we will process the scene and we will continue to work the case to get suspects in custody. >> police are looking for these two suspects and believe they may be driving this green chevy impala, investigators say it is possible that the shooting was gang related but victim's parents are adamant their sons were not involved in gangs. police in new orleans believe strong wind caused scaffold to go fall on to a busy street. fire fighters say eight levels of the scaffolding fell to the ground last night during rush hour and it covered a third of
