society hill. police arrested a student who allegedly brought a loaded gun inside that school. no one was hurt, school officials say classes resumed after police determined that there was no further threat. >> it is very concerning, and completely unacceptable, anytime a weapon is brought to school. but it is also important for us to get into the root cause of why the troubled young person might do something like this. >> school sent letters home with students today to let parents know what happened. also police responded to a call for shots fired near harambe charter school in west philadelphia charter school overbrook high school and rec center in the area were all placed on lock down as a precaution. police say they have in the found any shooting victims. and a student in custody, a student rather is in custody for prompting a lock down at george washington high school in northeast philadelphia we are told it stemmed from an image of the student posing with two guns that circulated

on soaks media police say picture was in the taken inside of the school. stolen uniform turns up on the back of the thief. take a look at surveillance video of someone stealing items from the lot of the brideberg business. police say that the suspect took a lawn mower and barbecue gorilla monk other things from fast way llc on east thompson street. that suspect was said ton wearing a uniform that was stolen, out of the philadelphia parking authority employee's car, in brideberg, three weeks ago. police are now investigating. suspect is in custody tonight for robbery and assault of the blind man in upper darby last month. police say they have arrested 25 year-old marvin harper, that attack happened on november 26th, on glendale road, police say the seven five-year old victim, visually impaired was tackled from behind and suspect made off with the man's money and phone in broad daylight. victim suffered a broken hip and leg. as cold temperatures settle in we are tracking some chances for snow.

that is right, meteorologist kate bilo is outside on the cbs-3 sky deck. what is the latest on that. >> it that is time of the year where we get enough cold air and anytime we can pick up chance for precipitation it may come in the form of snow. we have a couple chances to see it over next couple days, lets take a peak at storm scan three, first showing you some cloud cover outside right now, showers, rain showers, down across portions of virginia, carolinas, lake effect snow showers across northwestern, pennsylvania and new york state and then locally we are blanketed in cloud cover but it is a chilly night, tell you why i broke out gloves for 6:00 o'clock hour because it is glove worthy weather tonight. forty-three in philadelphia right now. thirty-four in allentown. thirty-seven in reading. it feels more like 30's in philadelphia. that is because of the win. it is not strong but brisk enough you need to bundle up tonight. the wind are 13 miles an hour in the city. seven in allentown. 5-mile an hour pleas in atlantic city and wildwood.

just enough of the breeze to make it feel cold. tonight it is dry, tomorrow same story, but in the next couple days we will see chance to see some snow. southeast friday night especially there is a system working up the coast, that may stay off shore and could get close enough to brush the coast and fit moves further inland possibly some snow showers in the city late friday night into saturday morning. then on sunday, passing snow showers as upper level low swings through, not a huge deal sunday but flurries and snow showers, possible. definitely cold enough air this weekend that we could see the white stuff. as we head into next week we will tell but a new chance to see a few flakes and yet another blast of cold air, lurking in the seven day forecast, guess kaine a nicole back to you. eagles are spending the week in california, but it is not a vacation. >> it is all business forbidder and we are winging it out west as team prepares for sunday she down with the

rams. sports director don bellies in anaheim where team is holding practices this week. >> reporter: eagles holding their first practice at anaheim stadium and football here in this facility is nothing new. the big a as it is called is fourth oldest stadium in baseball, it has been here since 1966. l.a. rams played here from 1980 to 1994. the infield has been replaced so eagles could practice. transition from south philadelphia to southern california has been an easy one. >> it has been seem less, you know, gracious obviously for ache also for allowing to us practice there and our grounds crew has done an a nation job when you see to it day with put something sod down in the infield and just a great job. it has been seem less, the transition has been really good, offices are great, players are really adjusting well and it feels like novacare. >> it has not been a seem less kind of day for l.a. rams. today they cancelled their 90

permeate, much of the eastern half of the country. cold air made it all the way dunn to the gulf coast and you can see with the cold air moving over the warmer waters on have the great lakes we have lake effect snow, in michigan state, into new york, and portions oven northwestern , pennsylvania earlier today. temperatures have plumeted in the pennsylvania 24 hours, look at these departures, 22 degrees colder then this time last night in trenton, 22 . fourteen in the city then it was at this time yesterday. here's what lies ahead, this is our in house model we are looking at right now. we will start off with tomorrow which is dry, lots of sunshine. watch this one takes friday's system out to sea. here's noonan friday. decent sunshine. cloud do increase. notice moisture in the saturday morning really staying off shore but that is not the only possibility. do i want to call your attention to this upper low saturday into sunday swinging through with snow showers. here's another model, and watch how it gets closer friday into saturday with a little snow or rain friday
