5:47 am
watchers, off to cold start, so the cold is helping to set the stage obviously, 28 degrees territory currently at mark's house, pretty clear sky in chattsword, but with time, the clouds are going to be building, everywhere. off to the north and west we go, reporting 30 degrees, just some clouds in willingboro currently, and at 35, terri's observation, which she made within the last ten minutes, so very fresh, and she, too, is planning a lot of clouds, her comment, let it snow. let it snow. we'll say it three times. let it snow. so i really feel like you'll fall on one side of the spectrum, totally jazz bad this or not. it will be nice i think to see the first snowfall. what's good about this, primarily unpaved surface accumulation. but it could be a pretty substantial one through south jersey. look at all of the moisture that has to work it way through after all. continues to work northeast, will get drawn back inland little bit. so it looks like we end up as a result with multiple inches worth of accumulation, slushy accumulation, and again, specially on unpaved surfaces through south jersey and into
5:48 am
delaware specially. this is a model run. that's very important. but note some of these darker shaded spots. that could pick up according to the model, six to 12 inches i personally don't see that happens, because you'll be dealing with snow on contact initially with time it could certainly build up. but yes, your best chance to see the heff year snowfall totals south and eastern counties, further inland you are, probably pick up few flurries, snow shower, and likely even in the city, up to coating, if not an inch or two but, again, it is mainly on the unpaved surfaces so slick travel is possible. but we aren't necessarily trying to plow through a ton of snow over the weekend. sunday out of here, but cold breeze to go along with it, high just 40, not much after rebounds in site any time soon , meisha. >> all good to know, yes, 30's , but 31 by wednesday, wow , all right, katie, thank you so much. and we are looking outside this morning, on this friday morning. and we are looking really good , you guys, the schuylkill , headlights eastbound direction past king of prussia.
