what does it carson wentz injury mean for the rest of the birds season. let's get right out to sports director don bell live at the los angeles memorial colosseum tonight. don. >> natasha i have atell you was bet and wovt of times. we'll start with the best. eagles are now nfc east champs and they beat the rams 8 point and trailed by ten points at half time and then turned it on late to walk out of here with the w. now for the worst of times. you mentioned it right you top carson wentz injured in the corpen 'looking for a touchdown. ran into two defender along the way and cam out limping. four plays later threw a touchdown to jeffery and shortly after left for the locker room and after the game he was carted to the bus with a brace fightly wrapped around his left knee. and the early report is wentz has a torn acl which would ends his season and nick foles finished game and here's

eyewitness news reporter alicia nieves caught one fans after the game and lots of celebrating with concern as well. the end of eagles game in los angeles had fans in philly in us is speps and then jmping up for joy. these fans at checky and piece were be side themselves as the eagles scored a touchdown with one second on the clock and clinchesed victory against the rams. >> we're 11-2, 11-2. >> close game but awesomement entire game was awesome. >> it was exciting really exciting. >> nail baitingly close game also got starry for fans when in the end of 3rd quarter their star quarterback carson wentz was injured. >> i'm worried about carson. he really got like crunched. >> when he got injured i thought for sure they would go

condition and crash happened here along this dark highway and has investigators trying to figure out what led up to it and so far according to sources authorities believe earlier tonight around 7:0 a vehicle came down con chester highway and crossed over double-yellow line near foulkrod. that vehicle seconds later collided head on as i mentioned with the vehicle that the four nuns were in. it's unclear to investigate istors at this time why the first vehicle crossed over the double yellow loin and authorities may not be able to get that answer from the driver because we are told that the driver of the vehicle that crossed over the double-yellow lines that driver is also in critical condition tonight. and in total, at least five people are in critical condition following the head on cash. as we said before four people are nuns fightinging for their life at the hospital. alicia nieves cbs3 eyewitness news. >> alicia, thank you so much. is also, tonight, police are looking to question the drive

drivers of two different vehicles that may have been involved in a dead hi hit and run in philadelphia. and police say the incident happened before 2 pbg this morning and in kensington and along frankford avenue elk hart street amount cording to witnesses a woman might have been pushed out of ford f-150 pickup truck and witnesses told police a dark colored dodge khechinger driving behind the truck hit the woman and then fled the scene. >> somebody was pushed out of the vehicle and people in this area are taking life you know for frapted and it's expendable and it's like you're in my way we're going to push you out of the way sdl authorities are looking for two vehicles and they say they obtained surveillance from two nearby stores that may provide more information about this tragic incident. and also developing tonight at least one police officer sake treated for minor burns after flames brock out at the lake view apartment complex in camden country and eyewitness news here on the 500 block of

lower landing road in gloucester township and fire and rescue crews were called just before 9:00 tonight and residents are now evacuated and at this hour crews are still working to try to get that blaze under control. >> and early morning two alarm fire destowed a home in norm cam ton country and this is eyewitness video of the blaze that started just after 6:30 and the the 1500 block of washington street in wilson. and flames raimed for about two hours or so before fire crews were timely able to get it under control. adjacent homes were dan as you can see in f this photo taken by the same eyewitness one person was injured and transcripted to a local hospital and there's no word yet on a cause of that fire. >> and state with us everyone, still ahead on eyewitness news fire continues to burn in southern california tonight. >> apock owe liptic that's a big word. >> as firefighters make progress in areas other areas

>> fire fighter are making progress on several wildfires burping in california right ow and major flare-up of the larj est one has now forced new evacuations. winds fan the flames today in canyons and long hill sides leading to coastal towns in santa barbara county and crews continue their attack from air and ground. and it's been about a week or so since the fire started and the women and men battling the blazes are getting tired. >> talking to the firefighters that have been out here and day one they said this has been one of the most trying and taxing fires they've ever been on. >> and across southern california the fires have devoured nearly 800 homes and other structures in 200,000

40 degrees is the high temperature and not close to normal high temperature of 46 and we started off in the 20s. and temperatures are cold. 32 reading and 33 allentown and 20s in mount pocono and 35 in atlantic city and 34 right now in wilmington tone and we have a little bit of breeze kicking so feels like temperatures down into the 20 20s. and in wilmington, atlantic city, wildwood, feeling like teens. and in the poconos right now checking in certainly a little bit of wintery scene on the boards and rehoboth beach and melting today and still some snow lingering weville have another around of sunshine melting and overnight tonight few brief snow showers possible west of i-95 and possibly until 5:00 in the morning and won't contend with these during the monday morning commute and also expecting little to no accumulation and but could briefly cause slippery roadways and also we had the snow melt today and refreezing overnight tonight with temperatures subfreezing and so do watch for that could

certainly still be slick for our monday morning commute and storm scan 3 showing lake effect snow coming on now and batch of snowfall developing across eastern pennsylvania right now. and really feeling in sxshl hi hover the last hour on storm scan 3. you certainly are likely getting flakes falling now in portions of western berks country and portions of lancaster don'ty as well and northern edge of this trying to push up into lehigh country and also scattered snow showers developing and in and around the poconos and we could see a few of those sneaking across 95 and this is one particular model and i think it's a little aggressive and other models not even showing any snow at all and future precipitation showing us few snow showers possible in and around philly and south years write and rain or know shower along the coast and chance is even lower along the nming until coast rain as we head to overnight period. and 5, 6, 7:00 in the morning no chance any more sunshine breaking out and we'll keep sunshine around as we kickoff the work work ement tonight, snow shower possible. cold low temperature 29

>> a member of the national guard is reuninting with dogs. he drove from nebraska to charleston to be with them this weekend he met the dogs while on duty island of st. coy and later discovered they were taken to charleston with other dogs left homeless by the the storm and he worked with local rescue to try to adopt them. >> over abundance of joy. i was super excitesed i got the dogs and i can be finally have the chance to take them home back to nebraska. >> well the charleston animal society is calling him a holiday hero. someone willing to drive that far to adopt a pet is something you don't see every day. they're helping to pay for his
