12:18 pm
specially later tonight. if you have some snow currently falling, in relatively heavier intensity, the further nor you go, but even that rain-snow line has now since extended all the way into southern up-state new york but this cold front crosses through, nothing more than passing shower of rain. maybe some snow showers still in place, though, for the next couple of hours, may come through off and on, would leave behind very modest accumulation in the poconos, for the city, otherwise, you can probably get away without a an umbrella won't be that big after deal for us precipitation wise, but makes for it in the winds and the colds that it will usher in. notice your win direction still predominantly out of the southwest, take a look at not just the wind speeds but the direction the arrows start to move as i put it into motion. by 5:00 p.m. looking at much more northwest winds flow, also stronger winds flow. so that is what's going to really assist and in knocking down the windchills values, tan gets incredibly cold later tonight. not the kind of cold we've never seen. this is very, very typical to
12:19 pm
see it couple of days or couple of mornings throughout the course of the winter. but with these kind of sustained winds speeds, and the kind of cold that's going to company it, you could easily have gusts say 40 miles per hour, that's really going to knock back the windchills, we'll get to in a second, but all easing up thankfully later tonight night. actually when the next round of light snow could be making it arrival. take a look at the feels-like values. these are current feels-like values, it is eight below zero for what it feels like up near the hudson bay, sue saint marie, 13 below, vicious winds ushered into the northern great lakes region. here is how it feels here this time tomorrow. probably going to be at the best it will be, maybe into the teens for windchills, but tomorrow morning, you're wacking g out the door to sink digit windchill values. just can't go by the thermometer when dealing with those kinds of values. technically we expect to bottom out 22 degrees, now, looking ahead, again, think wednesday night into thursday, next round every light snow. could it leave behind some
12:20 pm
accumulation? sure, it will be cold enough, but i don't think talking more than dusting at this point. we'll keep you posted but thursday morning commute could be a little dicey, friday that icon makes it looks worse than it will be right now, just chance that we see some snow. so we'll keep you post philadelphia that were to happen. no real rebounds on the they are mom at the until this weekend, and at the slow rebounds. >> if you can call it a rebound. >> seriously. thanks, katie. two boys take on labor of love to honor someone special. >> meisha has their story in today's love it. meisha? >> no easy twi handle losing a loved one specially when not even a teenager yet. but two orange county boys are turning their pain into family gain. they've set out to honor their father one little stick at a time. take a look. >> there is no age requirement in becoming a entrepreneur. fan there was, well, don't tell ten year old tamaj washington-his 12 year old brother, sion. they created athletic clothing line called strength to the second power. >> this is what we use for the shirts on the inside we we sew
