been cool, little yesterday, still dealing with melting snow out thereafter our snowfall on friday night. but the good news for again it, gets little warmer, that snow will continue to lt. and then we will really are going to be warming all the way maybe even close to 60 degrees before we even get to the middle of the week. so pattern change is going to be effect., for us here on this sunday morning, shows a little bit of cloud cover out we will see some of this break up through the morning hours, but then it re-thickens going through the afternoon as we do watch as another system starts to approach. we zoom out on storm scan3, you can see that system, working its way in, from the midwest. the low itself, kind of northwestern parts every missouri at this point it, will track further to the nort as it does, bridges in some warmer air, then also, that chance for maybe a stray rain showertw nighttime h, tomorrow, with another chance for little bit let later in the week. waking nip philly 33 degrees, looking at lots of 20's across southern parts of the viewing area up to 24 in the poconos,

now, going to be watching for you, like i said, warmer temperatures some rain showers , will breakdown all of the chances in just a little bit,6:32, police investigating double shooting in north philadelphia. that has left two teens in the hospital. the gunfire broke out on the 2700 block of north 11th street. just after 11:00 last night. now, suspect has been arrested the teen victims are both in stable condition. police are now trying to figure out what lead to that shooting. orning, no word yet on how an oveig house fire started in west philadelphia. people, police, say the fire broke out around midnight on the 5800 block of west master street. fire crews there got flames under control before 12:30. now everyone in the house was able to make it out safely. no one was reportedly hurt. the red cross has been called in to help. >> a church in camden is preaching forgiveness today. even after someone steels hundreds of dollars from a church fundraiser. that will money was going to

help feed the hungry. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan, shows us the video police now hope will help track down the suspect. >> we give out 1,000 christmas baskets. >> the season of giving is south camden sacred heart parish, but two sundays ago this man helped himself. he allegedly stole about $1,200 from a fundraiser, where parishioners buy and sell homemade goods in the base. >> very joyous occasion, people are eating, drinking, buying, having a good time. >> camden release this video from the man who stole from the hopes in -- this picture. >> father michael doyle who has been at the church for more than 40 years was doing a special mass to bless expectant mothers at the time of the theft. he says the money from the fundraiser would have helped next week when they give out a thousand food baskets to families in south camden. he says the lost won't stop their effort, and if they need more money, he said god will

capitol police informed local police there about the threats , and newark police and officers booker's home. mr. advice not yet released any more information saying this is an ongoing investigation. >> there is no word yet on what caused this ski lift acci mountain 80 miles northwest of harrisburg, malfunction injured five skiers there and stranded dozens high above the slopes. ski resort officials there say one chair slipped backward, and into the chair behind it, causing a domino effect, ropes to about 50ers used people, some were left dangling for more than an hour the search continues today for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run accident,n i-95 off ramp. the crash happened in the southbound lanes at highland avenue, in chester, around 3:00 surorning. police say the car struck and killed 46 year old ronald williams, and kept going, investigators say, williams was hit after getting out of his car fornown reason. n t striking vehicle is

believed to be a black new err model volkswagon, police say, it should have front-end damage, and windshield damage. lawyers for president trump's transition team, are accusing special council robert mueller every wrong-doing. those lawyers have written a letter to congress. in it, they say, mueller gained unauthorized access at thousand of transition emails, the lawyers say the emails are the property of the transition team, and mueller should not have obtained the emails without their approval. mueller of course is investigating possible collusion with russia, meanwhile, a white house lawyer is denying spec zero speculation that president trump is thinking of firingmuel. >> president trump says he expects the republican tax bill to be on his desk signed before christmas. the massive 500 page document needs the vote to both the senate to go into effect year. laura breaks it down. >> reporter: president trump said the day meeting with cabinet members at camp david and making another pitch to

>> thousands are getting out un evacuation orders in what's become the thirds largest fire in california history. the thomas fire, northwest of los angeles, has burned 418 square miles and started almost two weeks ago now, it has killed one firefighter, and destroyed more than 700 homes. an estimated 8500 firefighters are still battling the flames. well, the navy's newest high-tech war ship has been brought to live after historic ceremony.

changes, precipitation we could see at times this week will be a little bit more of the rain variety than the frozen variety. outside right now, this is in bethlehem, this morning. lehigh valley, and you can see the roads are still a little bit wet just offer to the north, temperatures whoever erring around the freezing mark, maybe little bit below if you are up in bethlehem this morning. so still some slick spots on the roads, no precipitati forecast for us today. it will be a very nice ends to our weekend. storm scan3, we will start by taking a look what's going on out in the midwest, area of low pressure spirals just south of omaha, nebraska, that low will track little further to the north and east it, will bring a warmfront, with it tonight, and that actually could fire off couple of light rain showers across the delaware valley, but then on the back side or i should say the south side that far area of low pressure, we will actually start to see little bit bit of southerly wind. that means temperatures are going to be on the rise, as we move into early next week. now, back here, closer to home

on storm scan3, few high clouds, are out there to the south, this morning, overall, it is going to be a relatively quiet and actually little on the clearer side, through the morning hours, we with a watch the clouds increase as we get little later on into the afternoon, as we watch for that bathroom front to lift on through. so there is morning, drinking your coffee,tly cloudy skies, 34 degrees, if you are planning headed out to brunn every, take the jacket with you. it will be a little bit cool out there, 38, still looking for the partly cloudy skies and kind of brunn. time frame. out and about later this afternoon, maybe doing little bit of shopping, just over a week until christmas, 42 degree mostly cloudy skies by that time, then as we head into thetime hon , temperatures start to dip, as well, 37 degrees, mostly cloudy skies, around that dinnertime time frame. in the evening, 7:00 tonight, you start to see that front common in, in there. maybe a few flurries as you head well off to our west. and then as we go to about midnight or so tonight, 1:00 in the morning, here, you

can see again, some flurries up toward the poconos, and maybe even a little bit of mixed precipitation there, maybe little bit of sleet, even little bit every freezing rain maybe north of the city to mix in with regular rainfall, temperatures do dip down to around the freezing mark or so, later tonight, as we get into tomorrow morning, just some cloud cover for us, but all of the precipitation has moved away, so it doesn't look like it should be much of a problem for us tomorrow morning for our drive to work. and then tomorrow afternoon, still looking pretty good, as well. for today, this is what we will be dealing with, 42 degrees this afternoon, it is quiet, but the clouds will increase as we go through the thirty-four tonig. so again, the spotty rain showers could mix in with a little bit that far mixedprecipr right around 32 degrees. 47 degrees fortoyfest for us he, so-so slowly warming, we get tuesday, then the sunshine returns, for the end of the week, first day every winter, 41, and mtl jan. >> i'll take it, thanks, matt.

"eyewitness news" reporter sean tai lands. la there. s shows us how the new employees are ex excelling. >> a contract worker for the delmarva power through the job placement company. she is one of 12 high functioning autistic adults employed as part of a pilot partnership program. >> they're productive, dollars , mike said it few times, they are making us a better company. >> which is why they are expanding it program to it sister utilities, atlantic city electric in south jersey and pepco in maryland and dc. the goal is to offer steady work to dozens of more autistic adults. >> they say what makes them great candidate is they're strong attention to detail. ot call it ocd or excessive compulsive, but it is like for people on the spectrum, it is enjoyable, to find that one or two things of a thousws that joy very

good morning, i'm jan carabeo, cold for now, but we are warming up possibly 60 degrees day, later this week. could it be? meteorologist, matt peterson on the cbs-3 skydeck with eyewitness weather, matt, 06 degrees maybe in december? i can't believe it. >> i know, just going to be fantastic maybe on tuesday. with those temperatures really warm willing g up. now, we usually have, you know , day or two like there is but we usually wait until january, where we get the quick little mini thawing before it cools down again, we will get it little bit soon they are year, at least for day or events on tuesday, again, when it could be little on the warmer side. today unfortunately, still going to be chilly. good news is we're still in the pattern where we are getting a break from the snow. we had it on friday, it caused some problems on the way home from work, for lots of folks, but again, still looking dry for the most part throughout our sunday. it is a quiet few days to start the week out. and then, our pattern is changing, like we've been talking about, some warmer air coming in for the middle of the week, it could cool down little bit toward the end of the week, but overall, still going to be average, if not little bit above average, for

really the next kind of week or so. soap, here is storm scan3, few clouds out here this morning. in general, we will see some sunshine early in the day, then those clouds will thicken as we go throughout the afternoon as warmfront looks to lift through the region. temperatures right now, sitting in the 30's, in philly , at 33 degrees, even allentown, at three; do you see some 20's back from wilmington, dover, millville, and even down toward the shore , wildwood at 28. but, overall, these are still about ten to even close to 15 degrees warmer this morning , as compared to yesterday at this time. we will get to up about 42 later this afternoon, and talking about few slight rain chances tonight but not too much to worry about, then again talking more about that warm up coming in just a little bit, jan? >> sounds good. thank you, matt. 6:31 now, new this morning, so far no arbies cents after shooting at point breeze avenue and morris street in south philadelphia. police say a man was shot in the face there, just after 1:00 this morning. he's now in critical condition no word yet on what caused this shooting.

a churr energy camden is keeping the fate today after someone stole $1,200 from a bake sale there. police believe the man seen in this video stole that cash from a fundraiser at the sacred heart parish two weeks ago. the money would have helped pay for the 1,000-foot basket that the church is giving to local families this week. one church member there says she is compelled to forgive this thief. >> we are a haven for people who feel as though the church doesn't want them. because maybe they're not worthy. and they're welcomed here. the gospel calls us to forgive >> camden police are still searching for this suspect, you see right here in this video again, they are asking the public to come forward with any information that could be helpful in this investigation. >> a montgomery county family who lost their two young sons in a house fire last week is getting help. through the kindness of strangers. now, that fire happened on summit avenue, in swenksville, wednesday morning, montgomery county sheriff's deputy brian

lukens, his wife and his daughter, all survived the fire, but their sons, ages six and 11, died after getting trapped inside. held pan cabbing breakfast to help raise money for this family. >> it's been unbelievable, honestly. it is a small community in swenksville, but i feel like every person contributing in some way, somehow, to helping the family, and that's all that really matters, how people can help. >> investigators say, an extension cord plugged into a space heater sparked a fire. >> well, philadelphia city council passed a bill to force beer delis to comply with a state law. asian business owners call the measure, quote, a kill bill. the they're referring to a vaux vision that could cause the removal of bulletproof before years -- barrier, a tour of the so-called stop and go to see what the controversy is all about. >> reporter: this is kenny

>> morning a cruise ship is back in port after hundreds came down with a flu bug. returned to port everglades yesterday. 332 people became sick with what's believed to be norovirus, passenger said her son started feeling sick, and then when they arrived at the clinic on board, they realized he wasn't the only one. >> full waiting room, and as we wereng, there more are coming in, everyone was puking, everywhere, they were leaving to use the bathroom with diarrhea. >> yikes. so passengers say the crew, they wipe down door handles, walls, the crews will now be thoroughly cleaned. royal caribbean says lab tests will determine exact cause of the illness. right now, it is not clear how it all started.

right now little cloud cover just south of philly overall see some sunshine early here this morning, but then the clouds will thicken as we go throughout the afternoon hours let's start by taking a look what's happening this evening. this is going to be that time frame, 7:00, 8:00 where the warmfront starts to lift on through. as it does, temperatures should maybe be cool enough out toward the lehigh valley and areas far north and west of the city, couple of flurries mixing in, maybe some rain, freezing rain, seeing near reading and the lehigh valley, most of the rain still for the most part though off to the south and west. even about seven, 8:00. now overnight tonight, as we get into the midnight 1:00 a.m. time frame, that's when we could look for few showers across philly, but you still see some of the pink in, there lancaster, reading, again, surrounding suburbs, could maybe be cool enough that we see little wintery mix, some freezing rain, little sleet mixing in with just the plane rain, again, not so much any snow mixing in, with this, because temperatures will be hovering just around 32 degrees, so if
