ukee washington. i'm natasha brown in for guess contact meteorologist kate bilo is at shady brooke farms in yardley tonight to give us a clear picture of exactly what we can expect weather-wise, hi there, kate. >> hi guys it feels fantastic out here tonight. i don't have gloves, this time last week i was in bethlehem, it was 23 degrees and snowing. so this is fantastic. enough of the chill in the air you want to sit at one of the lovely fire pits at shady brooke farm. this place is pack. everyone did their last minute shopping today perhaps and then made it a family tradition or make it a brand new family tradition to see shady brooke arms in yardley drive through light show sit by fire pit have hot chocolate and listen to the chris national carols. we will have much more what you can find here and they will be opened after christmas as well. first lets talk about is what happening outside. it is relatively mild today starting to get colder as cloud move in, but it is mild enough that as the rain moves in tonight it should just come in as all rain.

middle school head out for their holiday break allegations of a sexual assault inside one of their buildings is on top of mind of many. >> as a parent it is really scary. >> reporter: the school district has kept tied lipped on exactly what happened and when, delaware state police only confirming that they are investigating a sexual assault that they are in the early stages of the investigation, only minors were involved and that there have been no arrests, school officials say that he that were notified of the incident on tuesday. they sent an e-mail to parents reading in part at with the of the delaware state police the school and district after greed to refrain from releasing any further information at this time, other express their deep concern for all involved. some parents want more answers >> it would be nice to know what happened because everybody wants to know is what going on but i understand progress, and the privacy of not telling anybody. it would be nice to know.

>> reporter: school officials say they plan to tell parents more information about the incident while the investigation is complete. live, chante lens for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". chopper three over police standoff that is unfolding right now in bethlehem township northampton county. police say it started with a report of shots fired at sixth and wilson around 1:30 this afternoon. residents in the area of second and dennis have been told to shelter in place and to stay away from doors and windows. motorist are also being advised to avoid that area. also, authorities come to the rescue of the truck driver , sickened by a chemical , chopper three over philadelphia's port richmond neighborhood, the driver did manage to pull the truck over on i-95, near allegheny, without incident, fire officials say driver got a chemical splashed on to his clothes while the truck was being loaded. two fire fighters and two paramedics were taken to the hospital for evaluation. police are searching for gunman who shot four people

killing one in southwest philadelphia it happened last night on the 6600 block of dorell street. investigators say four victims confronted the suspect after allegedly assaulted a female relative of their earlier in the evening. one victim a 23 year-old man died at the hospital this morning. the three other victims are now in stable condition. the suspect remains at large. police are also investigating what led to an elderly woman being hit by two cars in south philadelphia this morning. authorities say that the eight three-year old woman was struck just before 6:30 while crossing the street at 24th and washington. she was pronounced dead a short time later. police say both cars that hit would the man stayed at the scene. we're told drivers are cooperating with the investigation. and this holiday season, local students are letting veterans know that they care, more than 350 stockings are ready to go now at the funeral home in washington township, new jersey. local elementary school students spent all week stuffing the stockings as part
