been nis street, the suspect fired at officers, none of the officers were injured. residents have been told it is safe now to finally return to their homes. police in delaware are investigating an alleged sexual assault involving students at reading middle school in middletown new castle county. school officials are tight lipped and delaware state police are confirming they're investigating an assault and minors were involved. school officials notified parents >> kids have no respect for each other or adults and honestly, no respect for anything these days. >> police also tell us the investigation is in its early stages. the search continues for the man who shot four people. killing one of them in southwest philadelphia. it happened last night on the 6600 block. investigators say the four victims confronted the suspect after he allegedly assaulted a

female relative of theirs. 23-year-old man died at the hospital this morning. the three other victims are in stable condition. the suspect remains at large. police are also investigating what led to an elderly woman being hit by two cars in south philly this morning. authorities say the 83-year-old woman was struck before 6:30 while crossing the street at 24th and washington. she was pronounced dead a short time later. police say both cars that hit the woman stayed at the scene, the drivers are cooperating with the investigation. "eyewitness news" on the scene of a fire in philadelphia's port richmond neighborhood. broke out in a row home. a woman jumped from a woman to escape the flames, three children were able to escape. all four were taken to an area hospital. no word on the cause of that fire as of yet. california man is under arrest now and charged with plotting an isis inspired terror attack in san francisco on

christmas day. the fbi found a letter in the suspect's home referring to president trump recognizing jerusalem as israel's capitol as well as guns and ammunition. >> the fbi filed charges friday against 26-year-old everett jamison, a tow truck driver from california he made his first court appearance. accused of plotting an attack at san francisco's busy tourist attraction pier 39. court papers say jamison planned to use explosives to funnel the clouds. he allegedly told an undercover agent christmas would be the perfect day for the attack because he was ready to die. jamison's father and step sister are stunned by the accusations. >> i don't know what to say. >> reporter: they say jamison was muslim but not radicalized.

the fbi says jamison was inspired by isis. they say he was plotting an attack that would have involved both firearms and a vehicle. jamison is a former u.s. marine discharged for failing to disclose he had asthma. an fbi informant told the bureau he had been radicalized. he's charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. agents say jim mason praised the deadly truck attack in new york city in october be and the 2015 shooting in san bernardino. he could spend 20 years in prison if convicted. president trump is in florida tonight for the christmas holiday after signing the republican tax bill into law earlier today. the president signed the bill in the oval office. he said he decided to sign the bill into law rather than do it at a former ceremony several weeks from now. thus keeping his promise of tax cuts by christmas.
