show you a live look here at the city, thinks courtesy of our live neighborhood network camera in palmyra cove nature park in new jersey. visibility not all that great out there. it is a very soggy start to the day. look at storm scan three and it shows why we have rain across the region. we are not dealing with rain, all day long, in fact, there will be breaks here and there and throughout the show, we will talk about that but notice there is more moisture down to our southwest, that will be heading our way later on today as well. temperatures are above freezing, 45 degrees in philadelphia 45 in wilmington. forty-five in millville. 's about freezing in the poconos, even there we are dealing with all rain. throughout the day it will be a mild one but i'm thinking we can see a brief break from the rain later on this afternoon with a high of 56 degrees and then more rain will head our way as cold front passes on through this evening. so, if you are doing any local traveling today, not the best day, but here's take away points for the weekend, we

roadway n conshohocken where we have an accident 76 eastbound approaching blue route this is in the roadway but has been moved to the shoulder, no backups to report there. moving now to new jersey we have got a problem on the atlantic city expressway where is there an accident near hammington, approaching winslow in, word on lane closures right now but be cautious if you are in this area. finally we have a problem on 130 southbound just after haines mill road we have down wires in the roadways and right and center lanes are blocked the from the cbs-3 traffic center i'm amanda mueller now jan back to you. >> busy morning and will get busier, thanks, amanda. last minute shoppers are trying to beat the clock. we are two days away from christmas. malls are getting ready for a big crowd, later today for super saturday. taking a look at this video yesterday a much different picture at cherry hill mall and gloucester premium outlets as last minute shoppers were, there, picking up their last minute items and gifts. they were making a mad dash over there, and they are on trend. numbers for master card pulse show holiday spending is expected to grow at highest rate since 2010 but some shoppers were only there as moral support for their less prepared family members. >> i started to get stuff on black friday and i only to have get two gifts last week so i feel good about having everything done. everything wrapped under the tree, everything is done. >> reporter: he is only 13 years old, so he is way ahead of the rest of us. if you have items to pick up this toys-r-us behind me is opened for 24 hours today and just down the road, cherry hill mall opens up at 7:00 this morning. live, from camden county i'm

shots were fired from the occupants of the car. >> the girl is now in stable condition, at children's hospital, she was shot in the leg and her father was not injured. investigation is underway after an accident in camden county, an suv flipped over on the 200 block of davis town road in gloucester township there is in reports of any injuries here. standoff in northampton county is over after a suspect was found dead inside of the house there. this standoff started friday afternoon in the 1500 block of dennis street in bethlehem, investigators say suspect fired at officers but no officers were hurt, and police have now told residents it is safe to go back home. delaware state police are investigating an alleged sexual assault at a middle school in new castle county, they are not saying much about it and neither is school district and as "eyewitness news" reporter chante lens tells us many parents are demanding answers. >> as a parent it is scary,

really scary. >> reporter: word quickly spread among parents in the aqua quinn mink school district after a student at lewis l redding middle school was allegedly sexually assaulted inside the building. school officials kept tight-lipped on exactly happened and when. delaware state police only confirming they are investigating a sexual assault and they are in the early stage of the investigation and only minors were involved. >> the kid these days, it is sad, really sad how kid are these days. they have no respect for each other, no respect for adults, obviously no respect for anything these days. it is sad. >> reporter: school officials say they were net filed of the incident on tuesday, they since sent an e-mail to parents reading in part at the request of the delaware state police the school, district have agreed to refrain from releasing any further information at this time, other meant to express our deep concern for all involved. some parents want more answers

back on "eyewitness news" a strange site in the sky had people thinking they were seeing aliens in southern california. what you are looking at and is a trail of exhaust from the space x rocket launched earlier in the night. the rocket was carrying satellites this was final mission for space x this year. and california man is under arrest and charged with plotting a christmas day attack in san francisco. the fbi filed charges against everette jamison, he is a 26 year-old man from modesto, california was inspired by isis. he is accused of plotting an attack at san francisco's busy pier 39, court papers say

struggle with social anxiety festive getting to can be very difficult. health reporter stephanie stahl has more on that and ways to cope. >> reporter: dreading holiday invitations? for people with social anxiety , festive get together this is time of the year can be more stressful and upsetting then fun filled. experts say it helps to keep events in perspective. >> if you think about them i have to go, critically important, i have to perform, people to have like me it puts so much pressure on and makes anxiety worse. >> reporter: doctors say people with social anxiety overestimate their likelihood of being reject and frequently fear they will act in a way embarrassing and humiliating, it is unclear what cause is it but people with the family history may be at higher risk. others say disorder may be trigger by over activity in the part of the brain that regulates the fear response. doctors say just because you have social anxiety doesn't mean you should exclude yourself from being part of the social events, key, learning to manage your

well. in other news today e-mail scandal rocks miss america organization, and now pageant 's ceo has been suspended. huffing ton post reported on thursday that pageant ceo sam haskill sent several offensive e-mails mocking and shaping some of the contestants. yesterday board of directors suspended haskill indefinitely and said it will conduct an in depth investigation into those e-mails. late last night they said they were stolen by ex-employees and comments are not indicative of his character. because of the scandal new jersey casino reinvestment development authority is reviewing its contract to host pageant in atlantic city. well, philadelphia orchestra is distancing itself from conductor charles dutoit, orchestra sent a tweet saying they removed his title of conductor laura, three opera singers and museum, and, and, with the philadelphia

orchestra. oprah winfrey is warning fans about a new holiday scam. the impersonation is called a like farming scan, jericka duncan shows us how to spot one. >> it is a fraud. >> reporter: oprah winfrey is on the offensive against on line scammers pretending to be her. it is a fake account that popped up on instagram this month promised to go give $5,000 to each of their first 100,000 followers. their name suggested they were affiliated with own oprah winfrey's tv network and their post celebrated winfrey's kind ness. >> lets get ready for favorite things, 2017. >> reporter: fake account often use real videos like this one from winfrey, it shows winfrey with her own gay le king. >> i love it. >> reporter: profiles like this don't have blue check marks indicating they are verified instagram account.

>> somebody out there is trying to scam you, using my name and my avatar on social media asking for money if you sign up for an own account on instagram. >> it is christmastime. you are taking advantage of people. >> reporter: six three-year old retired revictor saw a facebook post claiming winfrey , tyler perry were giving away cars and other pr ies. he became suspicious when people were asked to send money to jamaica to cover taxes and fees. >> if they had in the said i won more than likely i would have sent $750 to jamaica because that is just how much i believe in tyler perry and oprah winfrey. >> reporter: winfrey has been responding to commenters on her official instagram account letting them know that she's not involved in any give away. >> don't give up any of your bank accounts or personal
