nice long visit, through the rest of the week at least. so, today, we will hit high of about 34 degrees, pat, but that's the warmest it will be, and we show the seven day forecast, really chilly in the days ahead. >> you know me, i'm skiing guy , so this cold doesn't bother me much at all. i'm snow bunny. like that term. ski bunny, snow bun. >> i either works. >> totally, i am one. good morning, everyone, let's look at the roadways, volume starting to pick up little bit on the local major roadways, this is the vine street expressway, no delays, but starting to see some more headlights and tail light. schuylkill at spring garden also starting to pick up as you head toward the city of philadelphia, and out of the city as well on 95 at girard, no delays in this area either. but we have something to tell but. this is a water main break, it is in norristown, west german town pike at hillcrest road, and that water main break is causing some frozen roads, so they're going shutdown germantown pike in the area. we'll get to the chopper coming up because it is headed

out there. we should have update in the next few minutes, again, west german town pike, we caught that, joe, thank you, appreciate that, west german town pike at hillcrest road. that is shutdown because of the frozen roadways. fifty-eighth street between dauphin and susquehanna avenue this was a possible arson situation, so, this is something to keep an eye on out in this area. because of that arson, so we're hoping to get an update on that very soon, there was an arrest, as well, and as we turn our attention from the roadways, over to the eagles, hi, i'm over here now, we all waited for it, it was cents a win on christmas night for the birds, but not without it question mark, like can the birds go all the way without carson wentz under center however, anyway you slice it, the road to the superbowl goes through philly in the nfc. christmas night, against the oakland raiders, fix quarter, nick foles hits jay ajayi on the screen, he rumbles 17 yards to the score, seven- nothing birds. raiders hit back in the second

degrees, in the sunshine, at least, and still little on the breezy side. but starting tomorrow, we fall below freezing. at best for daytime highs. and couple of shots of course some snow even come along that would be friday, then again possibly on saturday. so, that is what we are looking ahead to here in the days ahead, very quiet just really cold for the next few. and then by friday, that possibility, pat, of some snow to return to the forecast. >> i know a lot of people can deal with the cold, but can't deal with the winds on top of it. that's not fun when walking around out there and in the 20 's with the windchill near zero. oh. you don't like that. it is warm here in the studio though. and on the roadways, starting to warm up on the 42 freeway in new jersey as we head toward 295 in the city of philadelphia, starting to pick up the volume just a little bit. but not too bad for about ten minute before 6:00 in the morning. boulevard at schuylkill, also the same thing, starting to see the volume levels beveled. no where near what you would normally see during this time of the morning. we have water main break, west german town pike at hillcrest road.

that is shutdown between hillcrest and stand bridge right now because it is freezing over on the roadway, we have chopper on the way to survey the scene. we'll update you on that, this just kind of cleared out of here, eighth street between dauphin street and susquehanna there was cents a fire. and it was cents a domestic dispute that turned into an arson. there was an arrest made. good thing though there are no injuries reported with this fire. also, an accident in cheltenham. small streets, though, no delays right here, retires avenue at old soldiers road. so just tap the brakes if you are coming through here, because it is a small, small street, small side street, and also, if you are taking septa, you will want to check this out. broad street line at fernrock transportation center, we've got up to 25 minute delays due to equipment issues this morning, so go to septa.organ checkup on it there. joe, back over to you. >> pat, thank you so much, sir more americans suddenly have high blood pressure, and the nation's opioid crisis dominated health news in 2017.
