"eyewitness news" reporter david spunt is live on the university of pennsylvania's campus with the very latest on this still developing story, david? >> reporter: it is a terrible story, very sad and there are many more questions then answers in this case. his name, 19 year-old blaze bernstein, he was a sophomore here at u penn speaksed to be back in class today. today when classes started for

that second spring semester. he went home to visit his family in orange county, california over winter break. he went missing a week ago. authorities spent about a week looking for him at an orange county park, and they focused specifically on that park, they looked by air, they looked by ground to see what they could find and unfortunately they did find his body last night, they informed his family that they found his body, this morning, his family gave a new conference along with the authorities in orange county just about an hour and a half ago, lets take a listen. >> as thin investigation moves from search to rescue to a homicide investigation we ask for your continued support in providing tips, fur to the orange county sheriff's department. our family, send you all of our love and thanks for what you have done. >> if anybody has any information about any suspicious persons or anything that they saw in the park throughout the week or that night, sheriff's department is happy to take those tips and follow them up and follow

tom wolf declared pennsylvania's opioid addiction epidemic a public health emergency and signed order for 90 day disaster declaration. >> health reporter stephanie stahl is here to explain what that means. >> triggers a lot of stuff that will happen. this is about getting more help to fight addictions, seven other states declared drug emergencies and situation in pennsylvania is especially bad, with the fourth highest overdose rate, in the country, and it has killed more than 5200 people, last year. >> i'm declaring this a public health crisis a statewide disaster emergency. >> governor tom wolf signed a declaration of emergency for

previous week. delaware is one of the 46 states reporting widespread, flu activity, 46 out of 50. there have been 370 laboratory flu cases in delaware so far during 2017/18 flu season with 95 hospitalizations and two deaths. >> those numbers tell a story, wow. kate joins with us more on our forecast this wednesday as we head toward weekend. >> today was quiet, seasonal, day, and, no snow, no rain and it is where they should be but now we will go up and down, roller coaster on the way. we will start off on storm scan three because it will get to and it is all thanks to one storm, this system, i don't know if you can make it out in the center of the system is, i will point it out in a moment, center of the storm over great lakes is there a warm front extending out from the eastern flange and that is what you see here precipitation over canada and down into new york

state. warm in the warm sector, your low right here, this is between warm front and cold front right about here that warm sector of the storm and it is very warm. here's cold front on the back edge of that storm, snow break ing out over north day coat, all that cold air spilling right in. when we get clash of air masses like this we will get explosive weather. much of the region rain to the us to the north of the storm this could be heavier snow toward weekend. overnight for us mostly cloudy not as cold, 35 degrees is the overnight low. thursday mostly cloudy, mild, 51 degrees most of the day dry but we will start to get to be under the influence of the system. overnight cloud stay in place. showers off to the north. mild day for yourself thursday but not a lot of sunshine. rain should hold off most of the day unless out late, by midnight we will see showers creeping in, and you can see system back to the west. first batch of steady rain will start to move in friday morning, wet commute friday morning and then it just keeps
