[laughs] if you are northwestern. even if you are us. >> spero: [laughs] it will be over soon, clark. this is gaines, a little bit too much. shot clock is not reset. the ball did not hit the rim. skelly from deep, that is good. skelly who spent some time as a starter this season. off the bench once again today for chris collins. >> clark: what will be key is the bounce back for northwestern. they came in feeling energized and pretty good about themselve themselves. after winning comfortably against minnesota. and you get a gut shot like this from the ascending indiana team. now you have to regroup and find your mojo for the next game. indiana will continue to try to play offense like they did in the second half for a more expended period of time. but they need to make sure that morgan is able to stay on the

floor and avoid the fouls. >> spero: clark, how good can they be if they continue up the track? >> clark: look at the big ten, they're a bunch of teams that are ranked top. they can get to the upper division, but i think that penn state can get there. i think the northwestern team can be top five or six if they regroup. they have a little bit longer to go under the circumstances, but indiana defensively has what you like. the shotmaking on the perimeter, and the ability of morgan to play without getting into foul trouble, and smith to continue to grow will be key to how this team bears the rest of the way. >> spero: both coaches will start to entity their benches. here is the sensational second half. as clark noted. all they care about here is postseason play. at the big ten tournament is so tough. the question is ultimately, will this be an ncaa tournament team.

missed it last year for the second time in five years. led to the coaching change, archie miller was brought in in late march. isaiah brown with his second bucket, and the last couple of minutes. a three-pointer for the wildcat wildcats. so indiana with the win will get to 11-7 on season, 4-2 in big ten play. they will continue the solid stretch that they have been on. back-to-back wins in conference play for the first time this season. as they just keep on coming. [whistle blowing] now durham with the second bucket, he has five, and a whistle underneath at 33 seconds. this is the upcoming schedule, the big one in east lansing five days from now. >> clark: you look at maryland, 18 that could be

fighting for an upper division finish as well. purdue has played consistently better recently than any other team in the big ten. michigan state has dropped a fair one 12 ohio state, and yesterday, indiana, because the big ten is not as strong as it has been in the past, skelly with a tough foul there. but because the big ten is not as tough as it has been in the past in terms of quality teams or at least highly ranked teams, you will not have as many significant opportunities to accumulate resume building wins. i mean, every win is important, but obviously there are some that carry more weight. so you just do not have the volume of those kinds of chance chances. not in the league this year as compared to other years. >> spero: first free throw from devonte green is good.
6:34 pm
we know what archie miller bought at day 106 years there. another college festival town, 8-10, regular-season champs the last two years. a memorable run to the elite 8 in 2014. >> clark: back-to-back conference championship. trips to the tournament. one of the outstanding young coaches in the game. wanted to do really good things here. i don't think that there is any doubt about it, a good fit for indiana and archie miller. >> spero: isiah brown with a three-pointer. but it will be nearly a footnote as indiana with a dominating second half performance. scoring a lopsided 20-point win in the big ten over northwestern. final score 66-46. the hoosiers all over the wildcats. coming up next "inside college
