what did he say, talking presip in our area. >> wednesday, mostly wednesday , yeah. >> it could start late tomorrow night but most of tomorrow will be quiet, for philadelphia, and much of new jersey, and all except for the far northwestern suburbs. poconos, lehigh valley are under a winter weather advisory and that will kick in tomorrow morning until early wednesday morning. this system will take its time getting to the city. lets look at is what going on right now. that storm is lifting off to the north, actual center of the low will move up through new york state but cold front a frontal boundary that is coming through for us and that is what will be bringing the snow but it will take its time , so do i think most of time is pretty quiet. we will be in this area you see here, dry area, this front will be pushing through poconos and lehigh valley during the day tomorrow, bringing chance for snow especially in the mountains. temperatures right now are cold enough for snow, freezing or below all across the area 30 in allentown.
6:19 pm
eighteen in mount pocono. 31 degrees in philadelphia tonight's low is more seasonal though then recent nights, certainly, better than last night, 27 degrees is our overnight low and that is seasonal for this time of the year. for your tuesday it is mainly dry, in the city, cloudy day, 37, not too bad, couple degrees below average but there will be snow falling to the northwest, through the day and here's what that looks like at 1:00 o'clock tomorrow. it is snowing albeit lightly in the poconos, possibly northern lehigh valley as well judd cloud fill and southe. most front we will see coming through quickly, this one not so much, at 7:00 p.m. it looks like exactly the same. still snowing in the northern and lehigh valley. but then we will get a coastal piece and they will interact, that will pull moisture furthere into wednesday morning so 5:00 a.m. wednesday , north and western suburbs start to see snow, steady snow in philadelphia is during morning commute time on wednesday, that is commute that will be most impacted by this storm and that then moves
6:20 pm
down the shore where it could mix with rain and moving out by midday wednesday. so start time for the snow early tomorrow morning in the poconos likely midday tomorrow in the lehigh valley for north and western suburbs but not until after midnight early wednesday morning in the city and wednesday morning in southern delaware and south jersey. areas that see most snow will be areas of longest duration of snow. three to 6 inches for poconos and northern lehigh valley. one to three in philadelphia and northwestern suburbs and coat to go an inch in south jersey and delaware. here's good news it will be chilly following that storm wednesday and thursday but then a warm up is on the way, as we head toward the weekend and we are backup above average and warm up continues, sunday looks pretty fantastic. 53 degrees with sun, cloud on money and a high near 60. day to focus on for snow in philadelphia is wednesday morning commute that is the one most impacted by this, north and west you'll see through the day tomorrow. >> okay, got it, thanks kate.
