signals? >> weird things tend to happen when you play the patriots. after halftime they always seem to get a little better. >> interesting. >> more to come. >> now that the birds trip to the super bowl is official, fans are scrambling to get to minnesota no matter the cost. >> how much people will have to pay to cheer from the seats of u.s. bank stadium. >> reporter: this is supposed to be the most expensive super bowl when it comes to tickets. i spoke to a broker tonight who has the name wanamaker in his business name. he has been buying and selling super bowl tickets like crazy today. >> it's been nothing but phones off the hook. >> reporter: welcome to wanamaker wanamaker entertainment group. inside it's all about those coveted pricey tickets.

>> if you have the money you can get anything you want. >> reporter: he says the company currently has several hundred super bowl tickets for sale. >> get in the building, we're looking somewhere around 6. >> reporter: $6,000 a ticket to get in. if you want to cheer on the birds from the side line, that's about $30,000 a ticket. he expects to see the prices rise and maybe fall. >> everybody is interested, everybody wants to go to the game, even though it's in minnesota. >> reporter: while minneapolis is a beautiful city, no question about it. it's not atlanta, new orleans, miami when it comes to the weather. some of the brokers believe that that cold weather may actually drive some of the ticket prices down over the next few weeks. >> thanks so much. and if you're lucky enough to score one of those super bowl tickets, have you to figure out how to get to minneapolis. we checked flights leaving

philadelphia saturday and returning monday. the cheapest ticket we found so far is a little more than $500. groups like the green legion are offering super bowl travel packages which include a charter flight and a ticket to the game. that package will set you back about $6800 and the first charter is already sold out. if you're planning to hit the road, well, minneapolis is just over 1,100 miles away. that's going to take you a little more than 18 hours to get there. and here's what you're going to find when do you get there. a snowy scene. super bowl preparations continue in minnesota tonight despite the snow there. all kinds of hospitality and vip tents are going up. attractions are being finalized for fans including free exhibits and security barriers are going up at u.s. bank stadium where the game will be played in a climate-controlled 72-degree

building. >> here at home, eagles championship gear is flying off the shelves. the gear hit the shelves right after the eagles blew out the vikings last night and one of the fastest sellers right now might be nick foles' number 9 jersey. >> what are the odds they'll be buying super bowl gear in two weeks. right now the birds have a 35% chance of beating the patriots. today we talked to frank farley of temple university. he's the former president of the american psychological association and he says the fact new england is predicted to win could actually negatively affect how they play. >> being defeated by the underdog is exceptionally humiliating. so therefore that could have a big impact on them. it could make them nervous. >> he says another plus is being the underdog really helps motivate the eagles' fan base. philadelphia police say

there were no incidents as 12,000 eagles fans charged into the intersection of frankford and cottman to celebrate the win. police credit staffing. septa reported no problems. police arrested a total of six people including a man who allegedly punched a pennsylvania state police corporal and his police horse. >> the eagles are of course part of a city drenched in history so some are affectionally referring to the birds as america's team. is it enough to drum up tourism for the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection. >> reporter: historically a different franchise has been known as america's team, but after this weekend, some people are realizing that maybe that title has belonged to philadelphia all along. in 1776, philadelphians first

on our website. go to cbsphilly.com/eagles. >> don't leave home without an umbrella tomorrow. kate is tracking some spring-like storms and she's here to let you know when we might hear a rumble of thunder. >> that's right. it definitely feels more like april possibly outside right now with temperatures still in the 50s right now that's because a strong cold front is headed our way. here's what that looks like on storm scan 3. a couple of showers starting to lift in central pennsylvania already. this is part and parcel of a much larger system. it's been producing heavy snow in minnesota all day, down into iowa as well. we are getting into the cold front. some pretty nasty storms moving across central ohio and that's all lifting into our area through the day tomorrow. so what to expect for tomorrow, rain will be heavy at times. the morning commute will certainly be the most impacted and there could be an isolated thunderstorm with that. rain totals between half inch and an inch.

coming up i'm going to track the rain. i'll time out your entire morning into the midday hours. i'll tell you when best chance to pick up that thunderstorm could be and a big cooldown. feels like spring right now. that's not going to last. i'll tell you when highest are back in the 30s. >> pennsylvania state police are searching for a suspect in connection with a road rage shooting on i-95. take a look at the sketch of the suspect. the shooting happened this morning in the southbound lanes near exit 3. police say the suspect fired a single shot that penetrated the rear driver's side of another car. he then fled southbound on 95. the suspect was driving a dark gold older model ford taurus like this one. if you have any information, contact police. investigators are trying to figure out what caused an early morning house fire that killed a father and his five and six-year-old children. police say by the time firefighters arrived at the scene just before 2:00 a.m., the two-story home was completely engulfed in flames. the mother of the children and her youngest son made it out

federal government is over. tonight president trump signed a temporary funding measure into law. the house sent that bill to the president's desk. it funds the government through february 8th. earlier today democrats and the senate agreed to the short term measure. mitch mcconnell pledged to take up an immigration bill and address daca. the pennsylvania supreme court has struck down the boundaries of the state's 18 congressional districts. the move is a major victory for those who contend it was uncons tagsal. february 9th to pass a replacement plan and governor wolf to the 15 to submit it to the court. republicans in the legislature plan to ask the u.s. supreme court for a stay of today's ruling. and the eagles clinch the championship and secured a spot in super bowl lii, they did it

for the team. >> everybody was talking about that today. everybody. >> look at him. firing folks up and got blind sided. ooh, right there. he's going to be okay. my man. >> don't want to go viral. >> kate here's with a look at the rain. >> tomorrow is going to feel like a spring day when we get those nasty lines of thunderstorms and heavy rain and temperatures in the 60s. definitely going to feel more like spring than january. we got to 62 today felt fantastic. it was not that sunny and clouds around but it was nice and warm mother nature may be an eagles fan but now it's coming to an end. let's start out with a time lapse video. you can see the delaware river the ice chunks starting to melt quickly. thanks to the mild stretch we've had over the past several days and we've had sunshine peek

through the clouds and the clouds are still hanging around as showers are starting to push into central pennsylvania. this likely not going to get here until early tomorrow morning but it's going to be a quick-hitting and intense system that delivers some pretty steady rainfall and also the threat for a few gusty thunderstorms along this front. so here's the actual cold front right here blowing up with thunderstorms over portions of central ohio right now. back to the west this storm has producing heavy snow all day up around minnesota, minneapolis and vikings fans stranded here in philadelphia can't get home because of the snow. and that snow breaking out over wisconsin. for us we're on the warm side of the storm and it too warm for any frozen precipitation. even up in the poconos we're talking about rain. temperatures right now 52 degrees. that's more than 10 degrees above what our high should be this time of the year. 44 degrees in wilmington. so timing this out, showers moving in by about 4:00 a.m. but the steadiest of the rain starts to come in around 7:00, just in time for the morning

commute we're talking downpours. look at this embedded yellow and orange. here's 10:00 a.m. and right around philadelphia this line comes through between 10:00 and noon with the threat for some very strong gusty thunderstorms, damaging winds are a possibility as well as intense downpours. by 2:00 that's mainly off the coast and we may be dealing with some sun glare delays for the afternoon commute. big change after that. scattered showers after that. and between 10 can cl and 2 is when that heavy rain comes through. checking out our main model anywhere between 5.-to 1 inch is likely across the area and your morning commute will be the most impacted. with reduced visibility, ponding on roads and the threat for sporadic gusty winds when that front comes through. the first half of tomorrow looks pretty rough. at this time tomorrow it will pretty much be over. turning cold are, a 20 degree drop from tuesday to wednesday.

the patriots engineered a comeback win over the jaguars. afterwards bell bill chick was given a trophiy and he tossed it aside like a blag of trash. in new england conference titles don't mean a thing without the ring. they've won five super bowls since 2002. belichick is roundly considered the greatest coach of all time. today doug pederson talked about the challenge ahead. >> i think everybody in the league sort of envies their success to some extent, and
