damp and dreary start to the day here in philly on this tuesday morning. and we're going to be, unfortunately, seeing precipitation through most of the morning hours. now, as you step outside. temperatures actually will relatively mild. still sitting in the 50's, and i'll tell you stepping out the door it, will feel a little cooler than that thanks to the precipitation, that is coming down. storm scan3, shows you, all of that rain, that's been moving in in the last about hour, hour and a half or so. and it is going to definitely be a factor for us through most of the morning hours, for the morning commute. and then probably even into the early part of afternoon, as women, zooming in for you just a little bit, you're getting in on some of the orange, yellow, even the reds, as you head up toward reading area, berks county and then as you head up even closer to the poconos, too, precipitation may and little bit of a break in the action, right now, here for philly itself. but i tell you right now, since standing out on the skydeck, definitely seeing rain come down for us many temperatures as i said, 54 degrees, what our temperature is. could feel little cooler than that with the rain coming down. fifty in

>> police tell " eyewitness news," that e suspect fired a single shot into another car, while he was driving a dark gold older model ford taurus like this one. he reportedly shot through the rear driver side of the other car , and then took off. and an investigation is underway in cumberland county after a house fire killed a father, and two of his young children. the deadly fire broke out just before 2:00 yesterday morning, inside their home on park avenue, in bridgeton. by the time firefighters got there, the house completely engulfed in flames. the 27 year old 's father, his six year old daughter and fifth year old son died at the scene. five other people including the children's mother, and their infant sibling, escaped the blaze. and the cumberland county prosecutor offers also investigating a fatal shooting involving a police office nerve millville. investigators say, edward gandhi, jr., called 911 to record he had a loaded gun. they say an officer found him near high and mcneal street and shot and killed him. they did not finds a gun at the scene. that officer is

there, the rain gives us the chance for some slippery conditions, so just be careful as you are out and about here in philly early on. our weather watchers are up this morning, showing us that it is rainy. pretty much across the delaware valley this morning. we start things out, mark, in chads worth, new jersey, he has one agreed degrees, overcast skies, and pressure falling at his house, as well, an indication that the front is getting a little bit closer as we head down toward the newark area, also seeing john, he has 33 degrees, but heavy rain, actually already reporting over a .10 of inch of rain in the glasco area. head over into maryland, as well, one of the newest weather watch ertz, dean, he has 48 degrees and light rain in northern maryland here, early on, on this tuesday morning. let's head over to the maps. this is what's going on on storm scan three you see plenty of precipitation out there. this is berks county up into the lehigh valley. allentown, reading, lancaster, lot of yellows out there,

orange, dark greens, that means, that we have that moderate to heavy rainfall starting to take over. as we head back toward bucks county, part of northern montgomery county, rain is starting to actually taper off just a little bit. but even here in philly, just little bit of drizzle right now compared to earlier where we had some more substantial rainfall rates. overall, you're still seeing solebury, northampton area, 202, it is a wet commute for you if you are already getting up and on the roadways, here is our time line. early this morning the rain already overtaking the area in that ten to maybe 1:00 time frame. heavy rain is possible from time to time. and a rumble every thunder or two, not ruled out either, the front is going to work it way through the region, around 1:00 or so. that's when we actually get the cold front pushed through. and then we start to see things taper off, the conditions will improve a little bit. and then, after 3:00 in the afternoon, the rain really start to move off the coastline. and we start to see the sky clear out, in the second half of the afternoon. doesn't look like we really have a real good chance to see

any kind of maybe sunshine this afternoon, but maybe we could see a breakthrough the clouds, very, very miniscule chance for that. severe threat today low. marginal. you see from philly back down into delaware, some gusty winds could be possible to go along with those showers and thunderstorms, real quick look at the seven day forecast, 64 today, quick cool down, then meisha we have the 50's again by the weekends. >> i can take the 60s even though i know we're dealing with a lot of rain, and right around the schuylkill expressway, around the art museum area, you can see kind of movement, volume not necessarily, it is cents certainly growing. not necessarily an issue though. still traveling at posted speeds. it is just the amount of vehicles you can see out on the roadways right now. this is going to start to slow us down.ain, this is the schuyll expressway, this is going to start to slow us down because of how many vehicles are out there, and do you have take it easier because of all of the rain coming down, splattering up on the bin shield behind you. by the way, keep safe distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. and hopefully that follows suit.

with everybody because when we have one person slam on their brakes to avoid something, someone not paying attention, we get more accidents. speaking of which we have minor accident here. schuylkill west before belmont , pulled off to the far right shoulderment you can see again, how wet it is out there and how many vehicles are traveling on past, probably tap the brake right here, but maybe slowing down as you travel on past that. quick peak at the vine, westbound jumping on to the schuylkill, you can see, hitting brakes as you travel on westbound, take a look at how many vehicles are out there on the eastbound side. really we've been seeing volume levels starting to build even in the 4:00 hour, as we approach the 5:00. you can imagine now it is really getting underway as we approach the 6:00. delaware county, 59 north, 452 , take this all the way up to the airport. this is what you are working with. jim, over to you. >> thank you shall meisha. developing right now, five work remembers missing after a fiery explosion at an oklahoma gas drilling rig. they're all presumed dead. ko tv in tulsa reports that emergency management has shifted in a rescue to a recovery mission.
