are stuck in the 20's as we currently speak, but with time rebounds back to the mid 40's across most of the region, say for the mountains, by the way, this really looks like a very nice day to hit the slopes if you want to take that drive up the northeast extension, with light wind at full sunshine. just make sure you've got your goggles ready to go for the sun glare know pack. but looks like great weather at the slopes today. as the day progresses high hits 45 degrees, full sunshine for you across most of the region here. and high pressure thanked for. that very quiet outlook. but things do start to get more interesting into the upcoming weekend. as temperatures climb, it signals pattern change, there is some wet weather headed our way. so you'll need an umbrella here for certain window of the weekends, i'll let you know when that rain will fall. and also, about the possible of some snow in our outlook, little later on, meisha. >> all right, katie, thank you tgif everybody. happy friday. so, in the world of travel, things have actually been looking real good. had little glitch in the morning, but it kind of got moved out of the way. now really looking at is

disable vehicle, no big deal. ninety-five pushing in the southbound direction at allegheny. however on 95 you can see the volume levels starting to pink , just little bit. we would expect that now deep near the 5:00 headed toward 6:00. they usually do specifically on 95. but overall still looking good , everyone still traveling around at posted speeds. no problem. schuylkill near spring garden kind of the same story here looking really good. maybe starting to build levels ever so slight lie, on the schuylkill looking nice, same story here with 422, building levels ever so slightly, everyone traveling at posted speeds, 422 at 29, headlight eastbound direction, no problems there either. now we do have two-point every construction in new jersey that were out there, however, 295 has cleared. now just really looking at route 29. that's closed between west upper ferry road and scenic drive. you will have to use your alternate. route 579 will be your best bet. and by the way, in center city this week, we are having heavy equipment flown in on helicopters, and because of that, saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., these roads will be

closed not just to vehicles, but to pedestrians, as well, more on this coming up in a little bit. jim, back over to you. >> are you flying in the helicopter, meisha? >> yes. >> okay. >> of course ill. >> well, the 2018 philadelphia auto show rolls into town this weekend, in addition to hundreds cents of new models, there also be famous rides you may recognize, "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo liver at the pennsylvania convention center this morning with a preview. good morning, jan. >> good morning, jim. so the philadelphia auto show covers 11 football fields, talking about 700 cars, from 40 different manufacturers world-wide. guess what? this car is the only one i can afford. this is the tow truck from cars. we are standing in the hollywood ride area today. and it is a very popular area at the philly auto show, brought it back for its second year. kevin is here to explain what we can see for the 117th year of the show. >> it is the garage mahal. glistening area that is a mecca of the ought mow it business in our area and over 250,000 people come in nine

days, but today in the hole section, first time last year, we heard everybody say bring it back. whole new slew, the mystery machine, fast and furious a team kit. i want to say something live on tv, zoinks, in honor of shaggy, now my career is complete that i said that on tv. whether it is super cars, exotics, we have classic display that is best in the country, bugotti, mercedes, anything in the automotive industry is here for people to see. >> you mentioned the bugotti. they're new this year? >> most expensive production, most powerful production vehicle in the worlds. 1500 horses, and goes zero to whatever real fast. it is something that you and i will probably never afford, at least i won't. >> that's the closest i'll ever get to that. it is cool. so anyway, anything under the sun, whether you like cars, love cars, just interested, you got to get down here, get your tailgates down here. >> even if you're just interested in brousing for a

new car, this is a one stop shop. no pressure either? >> that's an important thing, it is the internet in reverse, you see on computer screens, do your research but nothing like an auto show. nothing like the auto show to be able to see and touch and feel and get in and try on. there is no sales on the floor average persons spends three, four hours, the ultimate way to see where your next purchase is or next dream is. >> interesting, too, because 250,000 visitors, a lot of people come back and say they got the idea for their next car after visiting smear. >> about half the people here will buy a vehicles in the next 12 months. this show influences 3 million bars this sale. cents cents you can see how important it is to the dealers , manufacturers, most importantly to the consumers here in our marketplace. >> awesome. kevin, thank you so much. thank you. coming up in the next hour, we heard bugotti, a lot of expensive cars, we'll take a look at some of them. remember blahing tie tailgate tonight then the doors open to the public tomorrow, saturday, and runs for nine days, all the way until super bowl

>> looks pretty good, if you do have outdoor plans you can keep them here. looking into portions of the weekend, but there are times where there will be wet weather moving through, that's not your game, you don't want to deal with that, i'll time it out. start it off by tacking you outside for live look at our local area broad and spring garden, very quiet. are there even any cars out there? >> there they are. >> so quiet weather out there today, winds is incredibly light, out of the south, not going to notice it all that much, but air flow will help keep the temperatures to rebound with time. weather watch ers bleeding green for days, obviously, many of them for years at this point. but getting a loft great pictures in, with regard to the eagles so let's just have little fun very briefly here. lynn has been sending in picture of green on either her

front yard or her neighbors, this is actually the neighbor's yard, her whole street bleeds green. sweet inflatable linebacker, and another one, little more weather-related certainly. little bit of frost need the extra minute or two before you can hit the road here. let's look at temperatures, though, that will tell you the story everyone is below freezing, frank out in chester county at 20. fourteen from mark in chatsworth, new jersey, one of the colder spots, gilbertsville, 14 degrees, but also below 20 from david in clementon, phil chestnut hill at 18 degrees, ed in chesterfield, at 17, so the list goes on here, john in glasco, you get the idea, cold beginning to the morning. but at least the wind is light . all clear on storm scan, see plenty every sunday shine

throughout the day today, nice finish to the work week, wide zoom showing that we've got little hint of precipitation working its way into eastern oklahoma now crossing over the arkansas daughter. >> the front we were talking about starts to move in, while not much to track visibly, in time we'll have that, late saturday we will be talking specially that night. there may be shower north and west, will move in northwest to southeast, rain is a lot more widespread into the early morning hours every sunday, but the heaviest falling in south new jersey, then into the second half of the day. it should begin to wrap up. it might linger little later in the day for south jersey, delaware, but philly, southeastern pa, i think you're done with the rain for the second half of sunday. so real that i first part of sunday, looks like it will be the worse for philly anyway. but mild weekends in general. cold front. lives up to it name. so the temperatures take pretty solid hit here into monday night and tuesday, meisha, might even be couple of snow showers.

>> i can't wait for spring, really at this point already i'm thinking actually. >> so 95 at allegheny pulled off to the far right shoulder. you can actually see some of the people outside their vehicles, couple out there looks like right now flashing lights going, just be real careful. wiz on by 95, sometimes not paying attention, hard to see some people pulled off to the shoulder, especially when outside their vehicles, just a heads up. again that's 95 southbound, at allegheny. then the schuylkill blue route headlights moving in the eastbound direction. you can see certainly volumes starting to build, overall things looking real nice. quick peak at the boulevard. boulevard certainly starting to heat up in one of the areas really heating up quickly all week long. >> what i looking at, i don't want to say bumper to bumper but looks like it is get that way, traveling no, i don't think you are actually. take this all the way to the
