the mississippi. still clouds starting to build here across the canadian border. all of this turns into the next big thing, for our area, and that will be frontal passage takes place into the upcoming weekend. here's what happens. high pressure builds east, allows the warmth to build from the south, temperature will rebounds, once the storm gets in here, part of the weekends will be impacted by it, specifically, saturday night, into the first half of sunday. so, we start off with future weather, saturday evening. if you have outdoor plans tomorrow, keep them. you're good. most of the day looks totally fine, with sunshine, too, also milder, but come tomorrow evening, the northwestern counties will start to see some activity out there. only talking light to moderate rain with this crossing through because it will be so warm. through the overnight, you know, you're just looking at rain, even in the mountains. so, that's a good thing, not going to have to deal with ice , won't have to deal with any snow. and very likely for fill that i you're only waking up to this, come sunday. so, i think most of your saturday looks totally fine most of the region wide.

then that back-edge starts to creep through here. so, as early as noon or sooner than that, you're done with it in southeastern pa. although it may hang little later just because, again, it has got to move from northwest to southeast down through south jersey and delaware. so, late saturday, here are the bullet points, front is approaching, shower far north and west for the city, it is mainly sunday morning, that you're going to deal with this , then the heaviest of the rain will fire up across south new jersey and southern delaware. probably talking about upward of half inch of rain total. not huge deal, certainly no flood concerns out of this, but a weekends, so timing is important obviously. upper 30's where we currently stand though in atlantic city, 39 degrees, probably another five, 6 degrees tacked onto this here in the city shooting for 45. only 28 in mount pocono. but they've been making snow like crazy up there, i saw them doing it all morning long , and you've got really great conditions for here, especially rest of today, tomorrow looks pretty good, too. look at the warmth, mid 50's, all weekend long. but once more, you've got a

frontal boundary crossing through, usually tends to be trade off with these systems. behind the front on monday, of course the temperatures will take a hit, but all-in-all still looks like okay day, more clouds, there may be some rain showers that move in late in the day. and through the overnight, as the temperature drops, could turn over to wintery mix. another shot for some snow showers on tuesday. i think the big headline there at least for now, jim, is that it is freezing cold, the high hits 33 by then, so all over the place. >> well, it is winter, you know, after all. >> yes. a lot of whiplash as you put it. >> beggers can't be choose ers , thank you, katie. take a look at this, amazing aerial show captured in southern israel. they say the birds do this confuse their would be attackers, told millions of star link used to gather in the winter but the number has significantly dropped over the past few years. >> and take a look at this selfie from the mars curiosity rover. nasa tweeted this picture out with the caption: i'm back, did you miss me.
