around 50 degrees currently. winds, already began to shift, or gun to shift, more out of the west now, at 6 miles per hour. we did have that southwesterly flow earlier this morning. but winds will shift as cold front swings on through. and the cold front is goioor ai. it will be little slow to get here, and the front slow t so, some locations will wind up dealing with the rain little longer oths. lucky spots, that's up into the poconos, the lehigh valley , you guys will be good-bye to e rain moving through. so here is a look at storm dealing with just some light and steady rain across the that, based off of the color of reflect flex here on the ltle closer, to areas down the shore, and into capeealiay withf yellow there on the maps. some moderate rain making it way into sea here, very soon, also, just off shore of atlantic city, some in

time. the feeling is rain throughout ay today. wind doesn't ends, right? ernrbout 10:00, 11:00 start to lehigh valley, the poconos, really beginning to dry out. still dealing with the clouds though. and as we head into the 2:00, 3:00 time frame this afternoon , right along i-95, starting to see things drying out. still, dealing with those clouds. now, points north and west, this afternoon, could tap into a break or two of sunshine, but folks down the shore, are going to be dealing with that rain lingering around, a little bit longer, than everybody else. maybe even into the overnight hours for some of the coastal communities and shore points. nonetheless, we are starting out with an active pattern. that's setting up. this cold front bringing us the rain, well, that moves off shore. area of low pressure travels right along that, it is going to strengthen little bit. that's cold air works its way in, we could see some light snow moving through the region , as we head into tuesday. we're looking at monday night- tuesday time frame. because some models still

trying to bring in that snow as early as monday night. i would say majority of them tuesday morning more likely to seeing the light snow moving in. minor accumulations cents are possible. i mean, talking about 2 inches or less. but that's still causing very slippery commute tuesday. it could linger around into the evening commute as well. so, keeping a close eye on things, trying to iron out the details, nonetheless turning colder obviously talking about snow instead of rain headed into tuesday, so here is the cool down headed our way. 36 degrees on tuesday. 35 degrees on wednesday. and another big cool-down moves in, by next weekend. super bowl weekend. it is 50 degrees right now in philadelphia. 48 degrees in wilmington. where is the cold air? well, that's located up to the north and west. state college right around 39, 31 buffalo, 29 degrees in cleveland. that is going to be moving on in as we head into tuesday and wednesday. cool down little bit tomorrow. but the bulk of the colds tuesday, wednesday. mild with rain at times. temperatures in the low 50's,

on around the big event. as far as the rainfall today, we pick up around .21 inches every rain at philadelphia international. and a lot of weather watchers are checking in with numbers very similar, as far as their rainfall measurement, as every lately. phil in philadelphia, .13 inches, his neighborhood. vinny in cherry hill, just little over a quarter of an inch every rain just under quarter for lynn, in cherry hill, william in levittown, right around .18 inches. in fact, just over tent of an inch for lou, he lives in eagleville, john in mullica hill, just under .2. lower number therefore dean in aberdeen. but overall, we have got those numbers that are matching up very closely with what we dealt with at the airport. and temperatures, matching up pretty well, as well, 40's, 50's cents out there for our weather watch ers, some of the warmer spots that would be lynn in cherry hill at 50 degrees. he had ned chesterfield, right around ooh, as well. let me take you know to a live look at the city from across

this morning. so, and that's because we're waiting on the colds front to move through. then the colder air filters in behind the front. storm scan3, shows the rain and also the cloud cover, that's associated with that cold front. point south and east tapping into moderate rainfall at this point in time. for instance, indicate cape may county, atlantic county as well as central delaware south of dover. tapping into some of the yellow specs that you see on the map, that's moderate rainfall pushing on through. but pretty much everybody else just dealing with that light and steady rain at this point in time. so, when doses it all ends? whether does it all move out? talk about that on our future weather. how things play out. through the morning, early afternoon, the heaviest rain, the more moderate pocket, are going to be located south and east every philadelphia. so we just deal with light stuff here in center city. now, by about 10:00, 11:00 in the morning, portions of the northern lehigh valley off into the poconos, those areas begin to dry out. we dry out, or begin to dry

out, right along i59 by about 2:00, 3:00 in the afternoon, un for already for folks down the shore into portions every south jersey you guys are the last to say good-bye to the rain today. so, pretty much steady rain all day, for south jersey and our shore point. as we head even into the evening hours, maybe even into tonight. nonetheless, starting off with a very active pattern. that will start with the rain today, same colds front pushes off shore, area of low pressure traveling right along the front, it will strengthen little bit with enough cold air, we could be talking about the chance for little light snow headed our way during the monday night-tuesday time frame. the models still not totally consistent with the timing but looks like by tuesday morning dealing with the slip have i morning commute. just minor accumulations, but remember takes little bit of snow to cause some problems for the commute for sure. even rain causing problems for the commute. and then turning colder, obviously, talking snow instead of rain it will be turning colder, and by that we mean 36 degrees on tuesday. and 35 degrees as we head into
