are here, for week of festivities leading up to super bowl 54. they are so nice here. we have talk to minnesota nice we experienced it today. it has been so much fun to have people here with us, directing us around, and, we stopped by the mary tyler moore statue, of course, we have been to nfl live, super bowl live, which is a whole area right here, and if we can come back to me here for just a second i would like to introduce to you some of the volunteers who are making, everything, so fun. this is kim ape kelly, hi. >> they just gave meehan warmers, guys. they are taking care of everything here. what are you hoping people kind of take way because everybody has come up and said hello, welcome to minneapolis. you are even welcoming us, philadelphians with opened arms. >> yes, we are. >> yes. >> we are welcoming, everyone here, and we love minnesota and so proud to show off our state. it is chilly.

welcoming everybody here. and now also today, you know, patriots fans were getting ready to send off their team, as well. so, they took part in a big send off pep rally, this morning at gilette stadium in facts bureau, massachusetts just before they made their way to minnesota, and head coach bill belichick and quarterback tom brady spoke to the crowd. they got them all fired up, ready to go so now we have got both teams here, in minneapolis, as we look ahead to sunday. now don bell got here, on saturday. he is currently at excel center in st. paul, and they are having, sit media night. now it is opening night. it is a lot of festivities. >> yes, they call it opening night, they are trying to make this an event for prime time television. it really is most crazy thing that happens on super bowl week. it is where all of the players , all of the stars really on this game will be at podium, walking around and meeting members from all over

the world to come who hear to ask the craziest questions, many wearing costumes and what not. they expect them to be wearing dogmas accounts as well. we will have that tonight at 11:00. meanwhile you know eagles came into town yesterday. today, the patriots, they are arrived. this was the scene earlier in foxboro, massachusetts. guys holding a pep rally, listen, bill belichick, at this, once again, eighth trip to the super bowl for him as a head coach of the new england patriots. they have won five titles since 2002 and, of course, tom brady, a four time mvp. he stepped to the mike and here's what he had to say to that crowd. >> listen, thank you for your expert all year. it has been a incredible journey. we have one more to go. it is going to be fun, lot of hard work, we're playing a great team but we have a locker roomful have guys

is being called super bowl live. you probably noticed the snow here and you're wondering what that is. it is not just snow, we will do snow tubing down this area. they have block off this entire avenue and they have got all kinds of fun, fan experiences, and pat gallen is also here, along this area, at super bowl live, he has found his own fun, pat. >> hey, jessica welcome to minute so the a we are obviously surrounded by vikings fans. shh, don't say anything. we are surrounded by ice as you can see hills behind me they are doing cross country skiing out here a lot of fun along nicolet mall. before festivities began today i walk out and tried to guess a sense of what minneapolis is all about. as part of the festivities in downtown minneapolis, super bowl live is a 10 day festival situated on nicolet mall. back in philadelphia we have rocky, here it is mary tyler moore before we took a longer

i'm shot. bleeding heavily. >> reporter: jurors wife tears as recording screamed through the courtroom. prosecutors, weaved through the events of that night, hartnett and east lansdowne native and officer in the 18th district was hit in the arm, his bones shattered. pictures of the police officer injuries, flickered on monitors. archer was wounded in the upper thigh. responding officers like michael kaine, told the court, that hearing that call was like a shock to the chest. as if something, happens, to your child. hartnett has under gone 11 surgeries, and his voice quak ing when asked, the effect this has had in caring for his little daughter. he told jurors through tears, that he just made it really hard to do daily tasks, change her diaper. judge tucker's presiding over this case and has issued a gag order meaning neither side can talk to reporters. he at times appeared to be frustrated with the pace of the trial, so barring anything unforeseen it is believed that

the jury could have a case as early as next week. at the criminal justice center , joe holden for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a suspect has died after police involved shooting in south philly, shooting happened at broad and bigler around 7:30 this morning. police say suspect intentionally hit one pedestrian with his car and a good samaritan blocked his car so he could not getaway. investigators say off-duty, witnessed the incident and confronted the suspect when the suspect allegedly started attacking the detective. the detective shot him several times, and later died at the hospital. >> multiple people that were attempted to be run over, we have somebody who was in fact run over, we have officer who discharged a firearm and we have a person in the honda behind it here that caused this, that was responsible for this. >> the off-duty detective and pedestrian were both treated and released from area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. authorities identified three people killed in a quadruple shooting in reading

berks county last night. twenty-three year-old juan rodriguez, jarlen jarheada and joshua santos. the men and a fourth person were shot multiple times inside an apartment on the 100 block of south third street. no arrests have been made but investigators say they do not believe the shooting was a random act. a down poll causes a commuter nightmare on the patco speed line this was the scene near ferry avenue station in camden after a train hit a utility pole this morning knocking out services. four of the 23 people on board , suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash, and trains between the lindenwald and 15th, 16th street stations are only running every 18 minutes now, patco expects service to be affect for tomorrow's rush hour, as well. kate bilo joins us now, and you are looking at more snow down the road. >> we are looking at snow, doesn't look like a big deal. we have had nuisance systems and tomorrow looks like another one. it will happen between the morning and afternoon commute which is kind of good news and

and this moisture continuing to stream in along the coast. what is happening we havewo systems. we have this low moving off the companies and then arctic cold front coming behind it. these two are not going to pair up, sometimes when tha happens we will get a major nor'easter. these will stay separate this moves out to sea tonight producing rain and snow showers along the coast and then this front moves in tomorrow. doesn't have a lot of moisture witt but could interact with moisture, from the system along the coast, developing, and enhanced band of snowfall that will come through, midday tomorrow. in the meantime temperatures still above freezing in the 40 's across the area right now which goodies news. you can see first batch of rain and snow moves off the coast overnight tonight and then here comes the second band that starts possibly by day break in the poconos and then by midday in the city around 11:00 a.m. we can see potentially steady snow. does not last long. another ban around two or 3:00 y evening, the sun returns on wednesday. begins around sunrise tuesday,

by mid-morning in the lehigh valley, city and suburbs mid-morning around 9:00 a.m. when we can see a shower. we have a mix in southern delaware tonight, snow expected for your tuesday. we're not talking about much, as much as one to 2 inches in the far north and western suburbs, just a coat to go an inch around philadelphia, and then down through the shore points when all said and done. not talking about a lot of snow with this but it could slow you down on the tail end, of this, and especially north and west of the city and possibly lingering over south jersey, for the evening commute and that could possibly slow you down as well rest of the eyewitness weather seven day forecast shows a couple more chances of snow which we will talk about in our next half an hour, for now we
