we're just one day away from this super bowl follow accounts, fans flock to go minneapolis. we will take to you philadelphia international airport where several flights, bound for minnesota are taking off this morning. eagles are making their final preparations for the big game we will tell you what is on their agenda for today. we're starting off weekend on the cold note, live look from our parkway central camera this morning we will tell you just how cold it will feel plus we are tracking rain and snow, for your game day forecast. today is saturday, february 3rd, good morning i'm jan carabao lets get over to the forecast for a look at that with meteorologist chelsea ingram.

good saturday morning v cold for me this morning. >> extremely cold, you might think groundhog got it right because it feels more like single digits out there we will see milder weather heading our way as we move into sunday but today will be a cold one. we will start off with a live look at our neighborhood network looking at the city glowing in green off there in the distance as we look across the river, it is a very cold start, mostly clear skies, 18 degrease in philadelphia, 15 in millville, 15 in atlantic city, 20 degrees down the shore in wildwood but here's what it feels like factoring in the wind chill and not a whole lot of wind coming from five to 10 miles an hour out of the west, so, it feels more like the single digits in many locations. feels more like seven in philadelphia, 5 degrees in wilmington. feels more like teens down the shore but up in the poconos, it is feeling like 10 degrees below zero. heading in the afternoon we have a high of 34. chilly day.

we will see sunshine followed by late day cloud. as we head into sunday a complicated system heading our way. most of us will be dealing with some rain but some areas north and west could start out with a little bit of snow as this system makes its way n i'll have details coming up in my full forecast in a bit. for now back to you. eagles fans with tickets to super bowl lii are heading to minneapolis this morning where they will be in good company. "eyewitness news" reporter anita oh is live at philadelphia international airport and anita, i was out there yesterday, very busy, how is it looking right now. >> reporter: i have got to tell you there is so much activity here. this is the security line as you can see that wraps all the way around and escalate or around corner and line extends around the escalate or as well but whether or not these people are going to the super bowl, they are still, decked out in their eagles green ready for the game on sunday but we did speak to several

people going to the super bowl , they are heading to minute so the a we met up with one pats fan who is the sole one here and yesterday was a similar story here at the airport very busy surrounded by balloons, bunch of fans getting ready to head to minute so the a they explained what it means for them that the bird are now in the super bowl again after 13 years. >> well, what an amazing time, great to be to be a philadelphia eagles fan, once in a lifetime opportunity to go. >> this is more than special. great year. this is their year. this is my team this year. we're excited. we're definitely excited. >> you can see live here at philadelphia international airport, a ton of green, tons of people deck out in their eagles gear getting ready to go to the game. even if they are heading elsewhere they are still dipped out representing their team. we have talked to some taverns who say their family members surprised them with tickets and this will be such a special experience, for them

this team was 13-three during the regular season and at one point they started to feel like this was going to be a special one. >> we just understand that talking about a super bowl before you get there is a waste of time, and energy. we wanted all of our attention to be on our task right here, right now. but i think, earlier in the season i feel like we all realize that had we had exactly what we needed, which is why we all we got, we all we need, we recognized earl that i we had everything we need to accomplish our goals. let's just stay in the moment we got the week. >> once again eagles get set to play their third straight game as under dogs, new england is faired by four. with the team in bloomington minnesota i'm don belfor cbs-3 "eyewitness news". with the eagles nation anticipating celebrations, philadelphia is imposing parking restrictions. so starting tomorrow afternoon

air seen a man who sold ammunition to the gun man in the deadly las vegas shooting is charged with manufacturing arm or piercing bullets. a criminal complaint says that unfired armored piercing bullets found inside a las vegas help tell room had fingerprints of the ammunition dealer douglas hey, the complaint said he did not have a license to manufacture that ammunition and the charges, however, have nothing to do with the shooting in las vegas former hawaii work shore sent a false missal leather last month do you remember that says he was 100 percent sure that the tack was real. now fired emergency worker says he is devastated by causing the panic on january 13th, he says an on duty call that came in did not sound like a drill. now former worker has hired an attorney and may sue the state for defamation. >> pressed the wrong button? he pressed the button he wanted to press because of the way it came out, he thinks we're in imminent danger in 20 some minutes we may not be

there anymore. >> state officials say other workers her the word exercise repeated several times. the house intelligence committee has release aid previously classified memo on the russia investigation, the four page documents created by republican staffers on the house intelligence committee alleged misconduct by senior fbi officials investigating the trump transportation campaign. it says that the justice department obtained multiple warrants to track trump campaign official carter page, based on information compiled by democrats, president trump authorized the memo's release. >> i think it is a disgrace what is happening in our country and when you look at that, and you see that, and so many other things what is going on, a lot of people should ab shame of themselves, and much worse then that. >> meantime democrats on the intelligence committee say they have a rebuttal to the memo they want to release that is expected to happen next week.

sunday. >> i'm looking at a parade, clubs, everybody feeling it and having fun. >> say what? >> reporter: trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". now, this new song won't be available on itunes until after the super bowl but barnes has another eagles song on itunes right now called out with the old, and in all, he has written some 17 eagles inspired songs, since the 1999 season. they were all recorded locally at polygone studios in cherry hill. a montgomery county family is remembering a long time eagles fans, rich braidman turned the basement in to his mapel glenn home into the ultimate fan gave, including seats from the old veterans stadium to watch the game. rich passed away a few years ago. his wife and children have maintained that fan cave. they hope the eagles can win a super bowl for him tomorrow.

last night that was lit up in green. it actually feels more like single digits when you factor in the wind chill with wind not all that crazy, but not as crazy as they were yesterday. 18 degrees is current temperature right now in philadelphia, and it is right around 15 degrees in wilmington, millville. we are at 11 degrees, 15 in atlantic city. nineteen in wildwood. starting your day in allentown at 15. four in mount pocono. it will feel colder then that. are this morning and throughout the day-to-day. here's our future feels like. even by 9:00, feeling like 12 degrees in philadelphia regardless of the actual temperature, right. 13 degrees in millville. thirteen atlantic city. that is what it will feel like around nine. heading in to this evening not feeling that much better, about 20 degrees is what it will feel like in philadelphia , 19 in wilmington you cab expect to it feel more like upper teens and lower 20 's pretty much all day even though we are forecasting a high temperature still in

itself very chilly right around 34 degrees, we will see sunshine throughout the day, followed by some cloud on the increase, likely late in the day but notice on storm scan three we are very quiet right now but our next system taking shape out to the west when it will bring us the chance for rain and some of us could see snow. in fact area north and west starting out with snow and we will talk more about that and then everybody changing over to rain, heaviest rain will happen, sunday afternoon, sunday evening, and temperatures at least are going to be warming in the lower 40's throughout the day. let me show you what i'm talking about on future weather how everything plays out, we are dry, throughout your saturday, starting to see some high cloud filtering in, later this afternoon though, heading in to overnight hours tonight, tomorrow morning, we're mostly cloudy, folks we can still see a snow shower in the poconos overnight and as we start out the day on sunday then heading in to sunday afternoon. things are still dry along i-95 corridor in south jersey but we will see an approach of

this moisture moving in. starting out as snow for points north and west, but we are still dealing with the rain along i-95 corridor and heavy rain can be possible as well and then things clear out relatively quickly. as for what we're expecting up in the poconos well north and west, anywhere from two to 4 inches of snow, possible, sleet, freezing rain and then around 1 inch of snow will quickly change over to rain. that will wash out that snow, mainly rain for everybody else , in the green, on the map , so, super bowl sunday plans, pregame, we will see period of rain, very rainy, wet at kick off, you will need that rain gear heading out to your destination where ever you are celebrating super bowl sunday and then rain will be tapering off post game. your seven day forecast looks like this, 43 degrees for that high temperature on sunday. on monday, 36, chilly sunshine , mostly cloudy on tuesday and then another system, jan, will head our way but once again for a lot of us it looks like mainly rain,

back to you. >> that is good news, chelsea, thank you. 5:19. it is a tough time for vikings fans there in minneapolis, they are happy to watch the eagles who defeated their team in the nfc championship play in the super bowl in their hometown. our pat gallen spoke to some of them about it and as he learned there is still a welcoming crowd. >> reporter: part of the festivities super bowl live is a 10 day festival situated on nicolet mall. back in philadelphia we have rocky, here is mary tyler moore. but before we took a longer look we had to ask native minnesota residents about that game last week. >> pretty much after the first drive, seven to nothing, it looks good, and then reality set in, i guess. >> reporter: maybe we have one converted fan, are you vikings fan or eagles fan because i like the greenish hair. >> vikings fan for sure, yes. >> eagles with that hair. >> maybe, we will see, aside from that we want aid true sense of who our new friends

good morning i'm jan carabao, lets start off with the look at the forecast with meteorologist chelsea ingram on the cbs-3 sky deck with

eyewitness weather. chelsea, good morning. >> let me just say i'm awake now after stepping outside. it is freezing outside and feeling like single digits for a lot of us. let me take you to the temperatures across the region we are starting off with chill any philadelphia. eighteen. fourteen in wilmington. fifteen in allentown. fifteen in reading. at 4 degrees in the poconos but it feels this cold when you factor in that wind out of the west at five to 10 miles an hour. it feels like seven in philadelphia. five in wilmington. feels like 10 degrees below zero in the poconos and it feels like the teens for places down the shore. so throughout the day-to-day we are looking at temperatures climbing to around 29 degrees by noon time, however, it is going to feel like upper teens and lower 20's all day so keep that in mind. 34 degrees, by about 3:00 o'clock with late day cloud and if we think it is cold here, jan look at the forecast for minneapolis this weekend. as we head in the overnight

hours tonight in minneapolis a couple of snow showers, dangerous cold as we drop below zero and 6 degrees for the high temperature on super bowl sunday. january, back to you. dreams of seeing eagles in super bowl lii are taking flight. now destination for eagles nation is minneapolis. eyewitness news reporter anita oh is live at philadelphia international airport this morning where fans are going through security right now for a trip of the lifetime, anita, good morning. >> reporter: that is right, jan, good morning. activity here has been picking up all morning, the lines here of been wrapped around, this security area, for the morning , now, and at times it was actually feeling like we were in the linc considering how many people are just geared up, in their eagles green, deck out, for the super bowl, lot of us headed to minneapolis this weekend, some of us say that they were surprised by other family members with tickets but the

general sentiment here is really this is just such a grand experience, after 13 years of waiting they are just so exited to see the bird in the super bowl this weekend. we met one patriots fan who had a very positive message for the eagles. >> he said i would be happy if you won because i have to live here but it is really not my choice and i want to see brady make history. >> my kid surprised me with the plane ticket and it said i'm always going to do something for someone else how about letting us do something for me, you know, the city is so electric right now, imagine how it is going to be after this game, they win this thing >> reporter: just so much excitement here at philadelphia international airport, as many fans get ready to board the plane to minneapolis, heading to super bowl lii, we met a father/son duo taking a trip of the lifetime to the super bowl and many other fans who are just making a complete experience of this weekend, and headed to

"eyewitness news" anchor jessica dean was there and shows us what goes into that huge job. >> reporter: we have made it inside u.s. bank stadium here in minneapolis. you just saw the field, that is where eagles will take on patriots in super bowl lii on sunday. of course, it will be a little louder in here on sunday and a few more people inside the stadium. it is a gorgeous place. if you look up you will notice we're in a dome. we have talk about that in the weeks leading up to the super bowl. so everyone will be quite comfortable, fans, players, coaches, everybody that is gathered here and as you can tell they are in the middle of putting this all together. if you spin around here, you will notice tv stuff for the broadcast, you will notice people are still backup here putting things together and within more thing i wanted you to see here on the field the end zone is still under some tarps other equipment being brought in. they have been rehearsing for the super bowl half time show. so a lot of moving parts on

end tomorrow night we will be live on the air right here on cbs-3 with live post game comments from coach pederson and the players, we will also have a front row seat, as fans react throughout philadelphia region. it is the eagles and eyewitness news tomorrow night , right here, on cbs-3 we cannot wait. in other news today republican memo that claimed to show anti trump bias by fbi and department of justice is now public. and as moa lenghi reports the fbi and democrats objected to the release saying the memo only tells one part of the story. >> reporter: president trump headed to florida friday after declassifying a four page g.o.p. memo it alleged early stage of the fbi's russia investigation were tainted by political motivation. >> i think it is terrible. if you want to know the truth i think it is a disgrace. >> reporter: memo claims fbi agents paid multiple warrants to monitor trump campaign official carter page.

it says warrants were based on a does i a written by christopher steel but says fbi did not mention steel was working on behalf of and paid by the dnc and clinton campaign to the tune of before $160,000. intelligence chair devon nunez authorized the memo. >> i have an obligation to the american people when we see fi sa abuse. the american citizens that are represented before this court have to be protected. >> reporter: chairman nunez said he did not coordinate with the white house or president trump lawyers in anyway on the release of the memo. democrats say that the memo is a partisan effort to damage the credibility of the fbi and under mine special counsel robert mueller's russia investigation. intelligence committee's top democrat says fbi had revealed steele political ties this wasn't about oversight, this is about telling a political story that is helpful to the president. >> reporter: democrats have a counter memo, white house indicated it would be willing

to work with congress for that document's release. moa lenghi for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". wall street has its war week in two years after the market takes a triple digit hit, fears of inflation scared investors and that led to a broad sell off, even with the drop though the major u.s. indexes are up more than 3 percent so far this year. at the close dow jones lost 665 points to end the week at 25,520, the nasdaq dropped more than 144 points and s and p500 finished down nearly 60 points. chaos in the michigan courtroom where former sports direct larry nassar is facing sentencing. >> well, i will have to do it myself. i want that son of a bleep. >> father of three of the victims became overwhelmed with anger when his doubters were describing the alleged abuse. he asked judge to allow him quote five minutes in the
