same time yesterday. very seasonable change here, you're held back to the 20's, now back to reality. this is pretty much the one and only day though of the next five that will be normal for february. but what's interesting, too, is that this is our snowiest month, we don't really have a flake of snow in the forecast, at least not for the next couple of days, so while it is chillier, at least do you have the sunshine, not just in the afternoon, all day long. it is no where near as breezy, but it is seasonable, low 40's at best. so as we take a handful of hours throughout the span of the day, you'll be in the 30's come probably 9:00 a.m. if not sooner. but, by noontime, still only flirting to four, top it off at around 42, really right where we should be. another warm up on tap for tomorrow. >> okay, i like the sound of that, and i love the fact that we will see that beautiful sun it is such a mood lifter. there is no doubt about it, but still dark outside right now. looking at blue route near mid-county, what we are working with in terms of volume. looking okay. so the blue route actually big

thumbs-up. the schuylkill on 95, however, starting to heed up maybe levels little bit. we saw yesterday, 95 really heated up. quickly. we'll see what happens today. speaking of the schuylkill, we do have some construction, schuylkill eastbound between vine and south street, that right lane is compromised. you can see the flashing light pulled off to the right. so you might tap your brakes, really pull your attention to an accident in coat ville there is one with entrapment. 340 kings highway at moore road. if you can avoid it you certainly want to do so. not too far away in thorndale, another one, route 30 bypass eastbound near route 340, so just heads up on that, still showing some green. but i would venture to bet it won't be out there for much longer looking all green like that, jim, rahel, back to you. >> love is in the air. and on the move in philadelphia. >> we are talking about the famous love statue which is returning home to love park in center city later this morning "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at love park with more on the homecoming today, good morning, trang. >> good morning, rahel, jim. yes, love park itself underwent a make over so did the love statue. take a look here, this is one

of the changes that you will see, that rectangular base, it is just waiting for the statue to return home and be atop of it. but the iconic lover statue was removed from it name sake love park here a year ago to be stripped, repaired, repainted thanks to generous donor. now the statue will look little different than you may remember, it was painted red, green and blue. but it is now red, green and purple. as the artist originally intended. artist robert indianna when the piece was first displayed here in philadelphia, back in 1976. the sitly welcome it home today in grand fashion. >> love is basically going on a flatbed truck literally parading through the city, stopping, for photo ops, alongside seven different public art sculptures. so people can take photos, use the hashtag love on the move. and they can sort of get up close and personal to the love sculpture as it goes back to the city. >> and here is a map of the route the statue will take this morning, again, starting

at 18th and the parkway and at 11:00 it will be at the monument to jewish martyrs at 16th and the parkway all before arriving at love park around 11:15. >> in other news this morning, kidnapping ends with a captor setting their victim on fire. now philadelphia police are trying to track down three suspect. the and abduction happened wissinoming as the 34 year old victim got off work. tended early monday on wesford road and olney. they say the kidnappers drove their victim around for hours, zip tide him, demanded ransom of $10,000, and then set him on fire in his own car. basically the three suspect new their victim. >> it is pretty horrible. i can tell you, it is a horrific crime t seems very personal. all three we're hearing were armed with guns, yet they used fire as a weapon. it seems pretty personal to me >> the victim has burned over half his body, necessary critical condition at temple university hospital. >> well, health officials fear the flu is to blame for another death a young child in new jersey. the unidentified five year old

at least for one day before the thermometer begins to rebounds all over again. now off in the distance do you see center city, right on the upper edge of this camera shot i think the wind from yesterday might have nudged this camera out around palmyra cove nature park around a little bit. actually over my shoulder here watching us in hd see the wall from the bridge that this is mounted on but there is all-in-all nice clearview of the center city skyline off in the distance here, we are promised real nice looking day not too windiment it is nice and clear, have sunshine, but it is cents chilly. it is mid february. it is what would you expect. don't get too used to, that though, we're all over the place the rest of this forecast, so storm scan is clear, high pressure to thank for, that we do already have new frontal bound working it way east, so by the time it reaches us additional rain showers in the forecast, look at the temperature change, even from the lasts 24 hours, you've dropped anywhere from the teens, to generally 20, 30 y comparison, drastically
