of precipitation to expect. just nuts, the changes that are taking place whether we start with the weather for today. feeling like winter, to feeling like may, as we head into next tuesday and wednesday. let me start you off with the live look right now. at rehoboth beach, where it is very quiet there. we're dealing with mainly clear skies, but this one of those locations cents instead of seeing snow later tonight, likely only see plane old rain along with a lot of the shore point. and south jersey, as well. 30 degrees right now in philadelphia. some spots are below 30, in the two's there in wilmington, 28 in millville. certainly big change compared to this time yesterday morning most happening from 20 to full 35 degrees colder that all depend on where you live. that's setting the scene for some wintery weather that will be moving in later off this afternoon and evening, for all of the counties highlighted there in the purple including right along i-95, direct points just south and east, and then everywhere north and west into the lehigh valley

and the poconos. this goes into effect at 4:00 this afternoon, lasting through 4:00 a.m. sunday. and here is the moisture that we are tracking, located down to the south and west, already producing snowfall into portions every missouri, that's going to be headed our way. as far as snowfall amount, now , just one model, but it gives you the idea we will see the higher totals north and west in the lehigh valley, the poconos, down the shore, just seeing plane old rain. then the city even couple of inches possible. we will talk more specifics coming up in my full forecast in just a few minutes. jan? >> sounds good, we will get back to you, thank you, chelsey. 02:00, new morning, vacant house has collapsed in north philadelphia. the call came in around 1:30 a.m. this morning after the unoccupied home near 23rd and ingersole streets fell down, fortunately, there are no reports of any injuries police say a ten year old boy accidentally stabbed his five year old brother in southwest philadelphia. this all happened about 8:30 last night on 12900 block

every south ruby street in king session. investigators say the older brother was playing with a carving knife when the younger brother was stabbed once in the chest. he's now it stable condition. in other news today, indictments have come down in a plot to disrupt the 2016 presidential election, 13 russians are now charged with running hidden social media trolling campaign aimed in part at helping donald trump defeat hillary clinton. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown has the stunning revelations. >> deputy attorney general, rod rosenstein called a rare news conference to announce criminal charges against russian nationals for interfering in a 2016 presidential election. >> the defendants allegedly conducted what they called information warfare against the united state. >> rosenstein said the conspiracy involved a company called internet research agency, with hundreds of employees. it spread distrust. >> the defendants allegedly use that infrastructure to

establish hundreds cents of accounts on social media networks, such as facebook, instagram and twitter, making it appear that those accounts controlled by a person's located in the united states. >> lawmakers saying this has to be a wake-up call from midterm elections and the next presidential race in 2020. president trump, who was briefed on the indictment, tweeted this began before his announcement to run, and quote the trump campaign did nothing wrong, no collusion. the charges against the russians include conspiracy, bank fraud, aggravated identity theft. they came from special council robert mueller, who was investigating russian interferance, and possible coordination with the trump campaign. >> there is no allegation in this indictment that any american was a knowing participant in this illegal activity. there is no allegation in the indictment that the charge conduct altered the outcome of the 2016 election. >> the the defendant posing as politically active americans did communicate with unwitting trump campaign members, and

volunteers. natasha brown, cbs-3, " eyewitness news." and in the meantime, president trump flu to florida to meet with survivors of the deadly high school shooting there. he and the first lady visited broward health north hospital where they also thanked doctors and nurses cents for saving lives. the president then moved onto thank first responders, at the broward county sheriff's offers. >> i was one of the swat medics responded on the scene. >> yes, great job, i've heard about that, i heard about you. great job, thank you. >> there is word that a month before the shooting the fbi actually got a tip warning that the suspects wanted to kill people and was planning to carry out a school shooting but the agency failed to act on it. florida governor rick scott now calling on fbi director christopher ray to resign. >> well the victims' families grieve, other renewing the debate over gun control. last night there was vigil in bucks county followed by discussion on thousand get

elected officials to pass tougher gun control measures. "eyewitness news." >> reporter: err greg argos talked to people on both sides of this controversy issue. >> reporter: another mass shooting. another vigil. >> we are out in numbers to let the community know that we stand in support of the families of the victims who lost their lives who were injured in florida. >> and another demand for action. and more gun control. >> we need to fix this. because people are dike unnecessarily. and it has become a very cruel world. >> one of the things they can do is pass legislation to ban as is all the weapons. >> but not so fast, says a second amendment activist and founder of black guns matter. >> firearms, take the training and education organization, just go around to urban areas around the country and inform people about their second amendment rights. >> says the answer to limiting gun violence is not a blanket policy like ban ago specific type of firearm. >> we don't then get to just

place wherever day is cafe ole t day. anita, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, jan , certainly is for me. i want to show you the menu here, these are some of the options, they consider this very coffee forward place, not as is many additives and flavors as perhaps other places in the city. this is brian tucker the training manager here. so we've been talking a lot about the different kind of specialty coffee shops that have been coming up in philly watch do you think makes this place stands out? >> i mean it is that coffee forward program. also cents our relationship with henry hook who is our grower out in nicaragua rag with a, we get all of our beans from, he is amazing farmer, does great work for his community, provides education and healthcare for people in his community that wouldn't have it for him doing it. that's a a strong point we stand upon. but it is about making coffee on the forefront, when you think of coffee house, you want to think coffee, not additives, milk, anything that far nature. >> i know you have lot of experience in the restaurant world, but coffee scene, as

well, but there are a lot of mist conceptions about the different kind of cups and things. so what do you think that people should know about the different office that you have here? >> yes, i think the biggest thing is if you're looking for a traditional like italian style drink, beverage, when that be expresso, macchiato, double macchiato, the place to come to get it. if you are looking for stuff that's little more flavor- forward versus coffee forward, we will find something for you. we are very accommodating. our staff is wonderful. like we'll ask the right questions to find out what you are looking for and make you a drink that will make you a parliament fan. >> i'm parliament fan, here we go. what are we going to make today? >> since national cafe olet day, we'll make that and basic latte, what's interesting about both of these is you're actually going to make the drink. >> yes, i am. i am a barista for a day. >> i'll pull the shot for the expresso get the milk and you'll pull those to complete those. so the difference between cafe olet and latte it will be drip

well, the worse flu season in nearly a decade, may finally be leveling off. the centers for disease control and prevention says number every people visiting the doctor for flu symptom is no worse than it was a week ago. eighty-four children, how much , have died from the flu this season. pennsylvania, new jersey, and delaware, are all still experiencing widespread flu activity, and health officials do expect the flu to circulate for several more weeks. i think it has kept all of us very busy, some of just suffered by getting the flu from patient, as well, so it is maxing out our ability to cover all of the cases cents, looking forwards to flu season ending. >> so if you're exposed or feel symptoms, it is cents important to quickly get tamiflu to reduce the lent and severity of the flu. >> switching gears now, dog on the tracks brought part of the new york subway system to a halt yesterday. dakota ended up on the tracks after escaping from a dog park

, renee long the city subway tracks for more tan a mile and delayed service for about an hour. trains stopped before a transit worker found the poodle mix and pulled her to safety. >> i spotted the dog underneath the platform, and then i basically patted her, because i didn't want to get bitten. then she was very friendly, and i basically took her from underneath the platform and on to the platform. >> now dakota did suffer minor injury, but she is now reunited with her owner after a trip to the vet. job well done there. and chelsey, you've got quite the job on your hand today. tracking snow and 70 degrees weather. >> i know. >> go figure. >> it doesn't get any more confusing than that, right? you need to know what to wear, when is the rain going to arrive, will we see snow, will we get a little bit after mix, all questions i'll cover this morning. start you out with a look at some of the weather watcher temperatures, certainly cold enough to deal with some snow this morning, how much, the morning will be dry. later this afternoon and

evening we get some snow, and plane old rain. tennis in willingboro says right around 29 degrees in his backyards, other weather watchers checking in with temperatures a lot of them in the 20's, good morning to phil , right around 28 degrees where he lives, ed in chesterfield at 26. you have don in person see, pennsylvania right around 25. and 27 for john in tabernacle, new jersey, again, everybody just dealing with temperatures this morning, in the upper 20 's. i think the situation also cents in center city right now , temperatures are checking in below freezing, right around 30 degrees. we have a winds coming in out of the north at ten, so, that is making it feel just a little bit colder out there. feeling like winter, nonetheless. so feeling more like 21 degrees right now in philadelphia. storm scan3, shows, we're under the clear skies, see clouds quickly increasing throughout the day though, and tracking some moisture, that's going to be pushing into the mid-atlantic, as we head into this afternoon, and this evening. so, let's track it all for you

just very confusing. so, as to under better understanded we will show you a look at future weather, how things will be banning out. now, notice, we will deal with sunshine to start the day. by about noontime you will notice the clouds quickly on the shrines, and starting to thicken up. here we are at 2:00. pretty much mostly cloudy. couple of snow showers possible to our north and west , by the 4:00 hour. a lot of what falls at the onset is probably going to melt. and we'll have better chance for some sticking points north and west as the snowfall rates possibly pick up later on tonight. that snow-shield is going to be making it way down the i95 corridor, by about 7:00 later on this evening. and again, just going to be dealing with rain down the shore, also into central and southern delaware, just dealing with plane old rain. as quickly as this system moves in, it begins to make an exit later this evening, we even see some rain creeping back into the i95 corridor later on this evening before the storm completely moves out but after midnight you're

going to see this really quickly progress off to the by about 1:00, 2:00 a.m. in the morning very quiet. thinking anywhere from one to 3 inches will be possible. the jersey turnpike, on toward i-95, and just barely north and west of philadelphia, and of course delco, also new castle county, a lot of this, though, is going to be melting , rather quickly, especially as we led into sunday where we could get some snow covered roads, better chance for that will be point north and west, like reading, allentown, we could pick up anywhere from three to 6 inches, mainly rain down the shore. so with winter weather advisory have been issued going into effect starting 4:00 this afternoon, all of the counties highlighted here in purple, wilmington, philadelphia, trenton, include that, include in the that allentown-reading lancaster, poconos, as well. so here is your forecast for today. 39 degrees, in philadelphia. forty-one down the shore. again, just dealing with rain later on this evening, and the poconos, really great weather for the skiers, break out the skis, the snow boards, great

continued housing assistance. in other news today: black panther is the latest marvel movie to arrive in theatres. it is full of action and special effects of course, but thanks to a local principal, some area student lent soon discover this movie teaches a powerful lesson, as women. movie on a school day is very cool. but the learning experience will reach far beyond the theatres. >> all of these beautiful things that represent african-american children, they now see images on the major movie that look just like them. that's what we want to put in front of our children. that idea that they can see themselves in something. >> the significance of black panther isn't lost on those who star on the big screen. >> if we're able to give any little girl that sort of validation, and that sort of confirmation of her worth, and wanting to be all that she can be, that's everything. >> hopefully it changes the general idea of what being an african is. i think too oftentimes you see africa as a place that is wanting, and here, places you want to go. >> not just a movie, it has become it own thing, a movement, people excited about the culture aspect of it. >> people of all ages, so, how did student react when they

scare at a philadelphia school the swat team responds today wagner middle school in west oaklane friday morning. after a report of a person with a gun there. it led to a lockdown and student moved into the auditorium, while police swept the school and frantic parent waited outside. >> my daughter called me this morning crying, school's on lockdown. i called the school. they didn't give me no information. and she just really scared right now. >> police gave the all clear about four hours later, someone eventually found that bb gun behind arrayed ate or, authorities are now trying to figure out who brought it to school. >> president trump visited with medical staff first responders and survivors of the florida high school shooting. meantime, funerals have gun for some of the 17 victims, and as kenneth craig reports, overlooked tip may have pro vented the violence.

>> president trump thanked first responders who raised to the school of wednesday's deadly school shooting. >> what a great job you've done and we appreciate it very much. >> earlier the president and first lady met with survivors recovering at nearby hospital and their doctors. >> you can see the victims? >> yes, i d i did indeed. and very sad something like that could happen. >> many in the community hope the president continues to listen. >> he needs to hear from those parents. he needs to hear what those parent have to say about the rivals. >> there are calls to demolish the building where the shooting occurred but a final decision has in the yet been made. there are no current plans to reopen class. families suffered another blow friday, when it was revealed the fbi admitted it failed to act on tip last month about suspect nicholas cruz's gun ownership, a desire to kill people, and the potential of him conducting a school shooting. we truely regret any additional pain that this has

caused. >> there are people dead because they failed in that job. >> reporter: broward county sheriff records also revealed 20 calls for disturbances involving cruz and his younger brother. one from september of 2016 shows law enforcement were met by cruz's mother and therapists who said that cruz suffered from mental illness and had been cutting his arms to get attention. and that he had mentioned in the past that he would like to purchase a firearm. kenneth craig, cbs-3, " eyewitness news." well in lighter news today , add hot mill took coffee and you have a great drink and day to celebrate it. it is national cafe olet day. scene for more than 30 years, he has ton of experience. so brian thanks so much for waking up with us this morning >> absolutely. my plesh glue this is also waking us up, as well watch are we making today? >> making a latte, in honor of the holiday we'll make a cafe olet as well. >> perfect. specifically this machine, can you run us through exactly what the process is of making the perfect cup? >> absolutely. basically start by making sure you have a nice clean dry port a filter. you doesn't want any residue from your previous shot to pour over into this one. make sure you have a nice flow of water going. and then you come over to your expresso grinder. and actually get set up for that. >> it just smells so good in here, guys, so you know, just waking me up as we speak. >> you know, tamp, make sure everything is locked in and clean. then once you're into the machine you just go ahead and start brewing your shot. >> perfect. >> so avenue shot already poured for you here.
