7:53 am
but also sniffing is very important to dogs. they've done research that is amazing, if you spend time off your phone walking your dog there is should be bonding experience. >> certainly. >> watch them. they'll sniff something, and if they he? with their right nostril, that's new scent to them. when it gets old over non- threatening, they switch to the left nostril. so so much going won a dog takes a walk, that is you don't let them sniff, it is like you walking with a blind fold on. so, spend some time. get your exercise in, but then say, you know what, i'll give you the good amount of time just to sniff, what the neighbors are up up to, the animals that may have come across, and be amaze maze dollars at sculpture dogs have , walk by stuff and they know something has gone on there. so, pay very close attention to that. couple of things i brought, yes, makes it easier, this is for my dog fred who i adopted from the show: harnesser, siberian husky, he doesn't choke on that and perfect.
7:54 am
head collar, which you can also use to probably, seen these dogs, but sometimes i think these are easier to get the dogs used to, just harness , but the same thing, just the slip of my wrist and he's turned around. also at night, either they can wear something that he is is re reflective of this. but it is there. so if anybody drove by there is would pick up the reflection on it. >> do you have any advice for people who run with their dogs ? >> in you have a dog sitting down and not want to go walk, you have to stop, just because you're a fit runtier does not mean that your dog has had enough exercise to get. that will show you few animals up for adoption up for adoption at the spca. we have a great cat. look at this, we have annie, adult male, black cat, sweet loving, head butts just an angel, look for annie. and carson, he's five years old, he's orange, and i love
