17 it, one, 33, 42, 48 and 57, jim, back to you. >> thank you shall meisha. more than 24 hours after massive filed in old city philadelphia, firefighters still on the scene. >> fire continues to smolder, investigators won't know if or when they will be able to check out the damage. trang do live at the scene where fire fighers have set up a potential collapse zone. trang, good morning. >> good morning, rahel, jim. yep, firefighters told me that the fire is out. that will they do remain on scene. hot spots, and of course, that threat of collapse. take a look at the building here. you can see that main building with all of the burst out windows. but it is also affected these neighboring buildings, as well , including little line here on the corn their you see , as meisha mentioned, number of streets in this area closed off because of that collapsed potential. but here is video of the scene just about 24 hours ago. fire crews are called out to third and chestnut at around 330 sunday morning for reports of fire inside two buildings, with first floor restaurants

and up near condos. some 160 people evacuated from those buildings, and neighboring ones including the best western independence park in all, hundred fire firefighters responded to the four alarm fire which continued to flare up sunday and as well as overnight two. firefighters suffered minor injuries, were treated and released, as of yet, tenants have not been allowed to return home. >> we're in a humungous collapse zone. what we don't want to do is put people in material i. so through the night our crews still ends up working to extinguish all hot spots. >> l & i has not yet been able to get inside that build to go check it structural integrity, told that will happen later today. meanwhile investigators have also not been able to get inside of there, so no word on exactly where this fire started or the cause. but for now live in old city, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you >> still a lot of questions, trang, thank you.

>> new this morning, shattered glass in west philadelphia, after at least two cars have their windows shot out. "eyewitness news" on the 5,000 block of haverford avenue, where the neighbors made a discovery around 2:30 a.m. this morning. so far, police have not made any arrests. murder investigation continues this morning, in philadelphia's east germantown neighborhood. officers responded to the 500 block of to after 5:00 last night, resident of the block found man in a driveway who had been shot in the chest. police have yet to make any arrests. >> police in bensalem township are looking for suspect after another shooting over the weekend, "eyewitness news" was at the grand view amounts, on bristol pike, just after 7:00 last night, responds being officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound , the victim was returned to the hospital, no word yet on a motive. >> survivors of last week's deadly school shooting in park lands florida are calling for stricter gun laws after 17 people shot and killed in their high school. more student led protests are planned for today.

seventy is the call, zero seven is the number to beat. meanwhile wednesday obviously the warmer day, 74 degrees, and that would not crush the old record, but would certainly exceed it. by couple of degrees here, way back to 1930, 72 degrees, again, expect to go exceed that all courtesy of warmfront so wider zoom shows you the scattering of showers moving through, at least up toward the maryland state border, that's eventually going to be reaching us later this afternoon and into tonight. that warmfront lifts, in the temperatures start to surge, and we have trade off of some wet weather to go along with it, so it is kind of your call on the umbrella here today. it is primarily later this afternoon, just walking out the door, only out for the first half, you'll be okay without it, later this afternoon it will be scattered because showers out there, your high up to 52 degreesment tonight, still few showers at least initially, but we will see those clear out, and left with clouds the rest of the overnightment probably some fog developing, too, so that may proof to be our biggest

were treated to fun filled day in camden. they came out for superhero autism activity day yesterday. at a local salvation army chapter. kids got to meet their favorite superheros. the free event put on in order to encourage children with autism and believe in themselves. >> hundreds of penn state student kept dancing all weekend long to help fight pediatric cancer. >> they raised more than $10 million and the annual event simply known as thon. student revealed the amount of pledges at the end of the 46 hour dance marathon, they raised about a hundred thousand more than last year, money benefits pediatric cancer patients and their families, at the penn state milton s hershey medical center job well done year after year. >> one movie has huge opening weekend at the box office, how black panther pounds on the competition coming up next. >> plus celebrities show solidarity by wearing black at the awards, but one notable figure who showed up in a different color.
