walking out the door this morning, then later on this afternoon the clouds even already, starting to see some of the clouds building but should get in on some sun breaking through the cloud deck early. later this afternoon we hit the low 50's, so starting the warming trend and scattered showers, are a theme. just couple of hours pulled out of the day here to give you sense of how things do warm up. we will hit that daytime high, normal time, 52 degrees around 3:00 p.m. with building clouds, and that decent chance of some showers later on today. meisha? >> all right, katie, thank you so much. good morning, happy monday. looking outside at 42, kind of keeping our eye on here, just to see the pattern of how today's holiday will shape up. right now, everything is actually looking good. actually looking like it is fairly typical monday morning, so we will see what happens as we push more deep near the 5:00 and 6:00 hour. we do have construction, blue route southbound to 76. you can see vehicles still sweeping by, see the flashing lights out there, just heads up if you are headed out there now. and we've had some accident this morning, not the only one , one here in folsome,

mcdade at morton avenue. then another one in penn wynn, overturned vehicle as well, route one city avenue near haverford road. if you can avoid those areas i always say you certainly want to, even though the roads are not necessarily closed. now, this is the fire that we've been talking about in old city. i actually waist dollars past it yesterday in the evening hours, however, it happened sunday morning, so chestnut street closed between second and third street. you will have to use alternate , market street is your best bet. second and third street closed masses transit is affected as well, talk about that coming up in the next ten minute, jim , back over to you. >> still no arrests after at least two cars have their windows shot out overnight in west philadelphia. "eyewitness news" on the 5,000 block of haverford avenue. resident made the discovery around 2:30 a.m. this morning, no one report today have been hurt. philadelphia fire investigators worry about the civil at this of builds that caught fire in old city. >> the fire that meisha was just talking about, they have set up potential collapse zone trang do live near thirds and chestnut. trang, good morning, is the fire still smoldering?

>> well, good morning, rahel, jim, yes, firefighter told me that the fire is out, but they're still here. monitoring the situation as it can change at any time. but take a look here down third street. you can see that firetruck there with the bucket overlooking the building from the side here just making sure that nothing flares up. and also, as you mentioned, that threat of collapse. but here is a video of the scene, just about 24 hours ago fire crews are called out to third and chestnut around 3:30 o report of fire inside two buildings with restaurant below and upper floor condos. some 160 people evacuated from those buildings as well as neighboring buildings including the best western independence park. in all, 400 firefighters responded to this four alarm fire which continued to flare up throughout the day sunday as well as overnight. now, two firefighters suffered minor injuries. they were treated and released meanwhile all tenant got out safely but not able to return

home. >> we're in a how many uncle you go collapse zone. and what we don't want to do is put people in too early. so through the night our crews end up working to extinguish all holt spots. >> so we're told l & i will be out here, as soon as the sun comes up, to take a look at the buildings. meanwhile, fire investigators also have not been able to get into those buildings. so we don't know at this point just where exactly this fire started nor do we know the cause. but for now live in old sit, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," rahel and jim back to you. >> thank you very much, trang. >> still no arrest after a man is killed in philadelphia's east germantown neighborhood. officer responded to the 500 block of president street after 5:00 yesterday evening. neighbor on the block found man in a driveway who had been shot in the chest. also no arrest after another weekend shooting this one in bensalem township. "eyewitness news" at the grand view amount on bristol pike just after 7:00 last knit. responding officers found a man suffering from a gunshot

wound. the victim was rushed to the hospital where he is in unknown condition. the word yet on a motive. >> we have some breaking news this morning, massive flames erupt interesting an ambulance company in salem county, new jersey, this is the american legion ambulance association on maple court in woodstown. neighbor down the street posted this video on facebook, see the intense flames and smoke pouring from the building. right now crews are working to get control of the flames. so far there are no report of injuries. you can see firefighters certainly had their hands full , battling those flames. >> well, survivors of lasts week's deadly school shooting in parkland florida are taking a stand for gun control today. the student say they're trying to make a difference, something adults have been unable to do. >> here's cbs news correspondent hena doba. >> student who survived last week's florida shooting are planning more rallies today. after holding demonstrations all weekend. and their fight is gun control >> i've cried a lot. and it has turned into anger,
