weekends, yes, actually above average it, just felt so chilly, with the clouds, and the rain, and the drearyness, finally getting over the hum of that. of course time to head back to work and school, but coming and that's a good thing, eventually we see the clouds thin out for some sunshine as the day goes on, so progression, you know, you can't expect once the sun officially rise it is will be breitbart and sunny. just not how this will roll. what we are going to find still residual fog issues this morning, especially true for the southern mouse count ills, but clouds everywhere right now in part, though, that's helping to keep the temperature mild, in the mid 40's, upper 40's depending where you are at this hour. it doesn't feel all that bad. yet again i hear the little birds singing across the street how that philadelphia community college, so, they're enjoying this relatively milder air, and with time, we also ends up above average again, for a daytime high. now, let's take a look at just the bullet points for the day. you are still going to find some dense fog, most confined to the southern counties, we do even have dense fog

advisory posted at this hour, for at least the next half hour through new castle kent counties in delaware coastal new jersey communities. but with time those clouds will begin to thin out. and even though it is still somewhat limited, you will eventually see the sun break through, mid 50's, officially shooting for about 56 for daytime high. now, this is a stretch of days to look pretty darn nice, come tomorrow, beyond, keep the sun around, at least for a time, there will however eventually be some wet weather that returns to our forecast. and we are looking at just a wet month of february. in general here. the month to date precipitation is exceeding 6 inches this month. and it is primarily in rain. this is typically our snowiest month of the year. so, it has been interesting one, very mild one at that, but again, there is more rain on tap, meisha, so march could feature wet weather as we kick offer the new month. >> i don't doubt that for one second, all right, katie, thank you, and very good morning to all of you, happy

fifteen year old girl is home safe after police say she was abduct in the north philadelphia. police say the girl taken from the 3300 block every fairhill street, then dropped off at 29th and cecil b. moore avenue >> "eyewitness news" reporter chantee lans is live at police special victims unit. good morning, what do you know >> good morning, jim, rahel. that 15 year old we know is okay. police say she was taken from an area less than mile away from the special victims unit. now, they're looking for two men who may be responsible. i want to get you out to some video. "eyewitness news" cameras were rolling in the area where this woman, young teenager, excuse me, was cents abducted. they say she was taken from location in the 3300 block of fairhill street. this was around 6:30 yesterday evening. they believe she was not physically harmed. detectives say she was let go an hour later, at 29th street and cecil b. moore avenue in the brewerytown section of north philadelphia. high ranking police sources cents say they expect to have more information once the 15 year old is interviewed.

see that's good. checking in with the eyewitness weather watch ers beginning to tell a little different story. i'll explain as soon as i make my way all the way over to the touch screen from the desk, long walk, but here we go. eyewitness weather watchers up and adam. reporting pretty decent warm. a lot of temperatures certainly low, mid, upper 40's , in a hands full of spot. we is her know very quickly. to cherry hill, and we come back out again. live within blocks everyone another, both reported fog, jen is he in cherry hill. at 42 degrees. and lynn basically that exact same sentiment, fog any her neighborhood. further east though in new jersey, here, where mark is reporting that the fog is now just beginning to form. he's at 45 degrees currently. so it is a mild start to the morning for late february standards, certainly, and with time actually end up above average yet again. your initial concern here this morning. minor fog issue, but it is still bringing in a dense fog advisory as result. that's southeastern most counties through delaware,

south jersey. let's talk about precipitation , heist it felt like wet and rainy month for too? because the bulk of this month has in fact, i mean, you're not crazy, it has been predominantly wet. every single one every these green shaded days has featured at least rain, we have these little snow icons, it was a mix of snow and rain, maybe little bit every icing. so, what typically ends up being our snowiest month, has not one single day that was strictly snow. it just been too warm. that's the other thing you probably notice. at the moment, storm scan is quiet locally. off to the south we still have moisture, helping to get the fog to form meantime, but we don't have any rain in the forecast through at least wednesday morning. by second half of the day into the pm hours, typically evening, we could start to see shower move in. there is another system headed our way. so march 1st, potentially coming in like at least a weak lion, call it kitten-liken trans to the month of march here, meisha. with some more rain in our forecast. >> all right. well, katie, so we just have

closed between west upper ferry road and scenic drive. heads up headed out there in jersey and these are the two places your a driving by, i would say approach the 6:00 hour, maybe even move into the 6:00 hour, that's probably where you want to started a g a little bit extra time. and then also on 42, 422, rather, take a look at this, so this construction is actually going to be picking up little later on this morning, but overall, as you head out the door this morning , i have to say our commute looking good. i was cents peaking at interstate 95 between the southbound director sender city looking at the schuylkill overall things are actually looking pretty good out there for bus what i will be busy monday morning. so, you guys, i had such an awesome time this weekend. i had the grave privilege to m c fantastic event to help raise money for the children's hospital of philadelphia. i have emcee times, but this one was actually spectacular, of course our good friends celebrity photographer huey dillon with a thereto capture all of the great moments and excitementment at valley forge

casino. there i am. not sure what i was doing in that picture, blue were 600 plus people who attended the event called tears for chop. get this, they raised more than $600,000 for children and families in need, in the orthopedic division there, so everybody was so excited. and by the way do you guys remember the group in vogue? >> yes. >> right? oh, my gosh, so they person formed live for everyone, of course i toll every single person on the dance floor, we all just had such a fantastic time, all for such a great cause. really what matters. such an honor to be there, by the way if you're curious to see any more great pictures see them at cbsphilly.com. i have to say in vogue was awesome. >> i'm sure. >> they looked amazing, sounded amazing, like they did not skip a beat. they had everyone, i mean it, brought me back little bit, i have to say. way, way back. and i literally felt like they were still just the same as i remember them all those years
