clear at chuck's place a new member of the program. welcome chuck. he is in somers point. that is a really nice fish picture. very well done, proof to go witt, and crisp, clear, absolutely calm before the storm, in somers point. pretty much every where else. we will go quickly into delaware where we have 34 degrees at john dow wd's house start to go see that move in here and just north of the city we will go up to 35, from john jenkins who is also starting to see in perkasie the clouds lift nothing. wind flow still out of the southwest and it is still light. it is a wider zoom. your eyes gets drawn here to this, batch of rain working its way across tennessee, that is not our storm just yet, that is needling to take shape but with time pieces come together we will end up with this area of low pressure just off shore, and, it is going to be a thursday p.m. through friday event, even lingering with rain into, or rather win specifically into saturday but weak start to dry out for the weekend. here's what we definitely know
5:49 am
that timing has not change, it is mainly thursday, p.m. through friday, p.m. but there will be a intense case that takes place with the coastal low off shore. what are the wild card? exact system track is critical as to whether we will see snow on this out of the back edge but it is primarily rain, win, regardless, perhaps though we will see a quick inch or two in the north and western counties and some models even indicate ago this could move as far south as philadelphia, but these are your future wind gusts by 4:00 a.m. or so on friday, it is friday morning that the wind starts to intensify. thinks a model that is important to note but this is a really, strong, gusty wind, and jim, you have to put on that extra strength hair gel on friday. look at these gusts also, as high as 40's, if not 50's in the second half of friday. so a very potent wind issue with this, i worry about power outages, some tree limbs that could come down, minor debris issues. make sure everything is secured in your backyard. but then it eases up into saturday. here's the seven day, go time is p.m. thursday through
5:50 am
friday, mainly rain, big wind issue, possibly minor snow on the back edge of it, and then it is chilly over weekend but seasonal, meisha and still breezy on the heels of the storm. >> all right, katie, so we just to have soak it up today, within more day to get outside , and enjoy, it. thanks, katie. looking outside right now, well, all morning long it looked good, a lot of construction and it is clearing out of the way. we are looking at the boulevard right now, boulevard pushing in the southbound direction, one of those areas we know, monday through wednesday, we will start to heat up in the 5:00 o'clock hour and makes a turn in the 6:00 o'clock hour leading up to our main hour of the rush. that is what we're seeing. fairly typical. still traveling at posted speed once you jump on the schuylkill westbound we're getting bus there i. forty-two, so all of my friend ness new jersey 42 freeway, take this toward 295, these are levels thaw will be working with and you can see how many vehicles are out there right now. heading outside the door in the next, 15, 20, 25 minutes, maybe start to think about factoring in a couple extra minutes, into your plans, but,
5:51 am
