york mayor bill de blasio of not being supportive enough. they have launched a petition asking the mayor not to attend the funerals of any police officers killed in the line of duty. meanwhile, the family of eric garner has condemned the deaths. garner died after being put in a choke hold by a new york policemen. his mother called for any protests to be peaceful. >> standing here in sorrow about losing those 2 police officers. that was not our agenda. we are going in peace. and anyone who is standing with us, we want you to not use eric garner's name for violence -- we are not about that. these 2 police officers lost their lives senselessly.
