they know they are being fired at from residential areas. from time to time, they will hit civilians. this is what we are hearing. all this news of people randomly killed at the bus stop going about their daily business on a school ground. both sides are not doing what they should, taking measures to protect the civilian population. >> a final question. there are reports of abuse toward volunteer battalions in the region. tell us more. >> this is a problem we documented in august. there are regular forces but also battalions made up of volunteers, integrated into the ukrainian command and control structure. but they operate with independence. on the ground, their members committed numerous abuses. we looked at one battalion engaging in abductions torture extortion of property. we brought these problems to the

for both kidnappings. the michelin -- militia demanded the release of their leader, who was arrested by u.n. peacekeepers on saturday. he faces accusations of rape, mass murder, and rebellion. the archbishop is spearheading negotiations in a bid to free the aid workers. in nigeria, hundreds have fled four villages near the town of baga following a warning from boko haram. residents were visited by the islamist group on monday. dealing with boko haram was high on the agenda during talks this tuesday. the u.n. says that the group now poses a threat to all of central africa. >> fleeing boko haram, refugees continue to cross the nigerian border into chad escaping a spiral of violence. those seeking safety say it is a must impossible to estimate the number of those killed in recent boko haram attacks. >> 1000 people.

card transactions. retailers argued they were being overcharged by the so-called swipe fees, and they wanted the cap to be lowered. good news for bank of america and wells fargo, the largest debit card issuers in the u.s. in china shanghai claims to have made the world's first villa from 3-d printing. it is a mix of recycled construction waste, glass, and steel, sprayed until a thick slab is created, a technique that they say saves 30% in costs. the villa was made at a cost of 140,000 euros. it could sell in shanghai for more than 11 million euros. the company has only received 10 orders for such buildings. the egyptian government ordered 20,000 small houses.
