>> a vote on reforms is expected late wednesday evening. brent: strange bedfellows in athens, we want our correspondent right now who is on the story for us, who is helping the prime minister tonight in this vote? >> at the end of the day, the legislation will pass but only with help from the opposition party. the conservatives, socialist and pro-european centrist party. they will vote in favor of the bill just like they did last week. we remember last week there were 39 defenders in the governing party. we expect a similar outcome tonight. we won't have any other choice but to step down and halt early

elections. i have to say some left-wing commentators six beck quite the opposite. that some of the defenders that voted against reforms last week will back the prime minister. they have been removed from the bill. like pension reform or the tax hikes for greek farmers. brent: some of the proposed reforms of been postponed until august. what is the prime minister of two with that? >> it is not quite clear what is happening here. george miller reports that even the german finance industry was rather surprised to see the greek government bringing a pension reform to parliament now. this reform was scheduled for october. it's not one of the actions were wired right now.
