rescue workers are racing to get relief aid to victims of monday's massive earthquake. it struck in the mountains of northern afghanistan, not far from the border with pakistan. the devotee -- the death toll stands at over 300. >> it has been a long night at the hospital. thestan wakes up to aftermath of the 7.5 magnitude earthquake that rocked the region on monday. as i walked out of a rice shop, the building collapsed and both my legs were trapped in rubble. two or three other men were with me. i do not know what happened to them. an ambulance brought me here. rescue work in the city was largely finished by monday evening, leaving the residence to take stock of the damage and to mourn the dead.
