shootout with police. >> we believe the suspects when they entered fired somewhere between 65 and 75 rounds from their rifles at the scene. we did locate the one pipe bomb. t was actually three bombs into one. there were four high capacity .223 rifle magazines that were dropped by the suspects and recovered. there appears to be a degree of planning that went into this. nobody gets upset at a party and comes back and does this. there was some planning that went into this. >> f.b.i. officials have been saying it would be irresponsible to speculate on a motive as this point. the same message given out by barack obama, the u.s. president, saying it is possible that the pair had

terrorist intentions, but that nothing is confirmed at this point. >> at this stage we do not yet know why this terrible event occurred. at this point, this is now an f.b.i. investigation that is being done in cooperation and consultation with local law enforcement. it is possible that this was terrorist related, but we don't know. it is also possible that this was work place related. >> the correspondent is in san berenardino with some more details emerging about just who the two shooters were. >> they are looking into possible radicalization of the shooter and his wife. what is interesting is they have traveled back and forth to the middle east. they maybe had comeback with people both inside the united states and outside who might have been radicalized. that is what they are looking

into. another interesting fact for the f.b.i. is the fact that this couple showed up at the work place of the husband with heavy weaponry, a lot of weapons, a lot of rounds of ammunition and also some makeshift bombs. usually when you show up for a work place dispute, you don't have such a heavy arsenal. is is one fact concerning to them and why they are trying to understand whether this could be linked to international terrorism. >> and just returning to the victims of this crime, 14 people have been killed as we know. several more are badly hurt. what do we know about the condition of these casualties? >> we know that a certain number of victims are still in very critical condition. the death toll could rise indeed after this shooting here in san berenardino. right now 14 people have been killed, as you mentioned. it seems that it is going to
