thousands of migrants have been gathering at the border between turkey and greece, many still camping out and waiting to cross into europe. the zone is increasingly tense and migrants beaking to our reporters that they have been sent back and forth by both turkish and greek police. joining me now is catherine noris s trend. with that cease-fire being signed off by the russians and the turks, is it having any direct impacts from where you are. have the turks closed the border? catherine: at the moment that is not the case. the situation remains tense at the border in turkey. remain, according to migrants we have spoken to, ththere remain several thousand migrants insnside the no man's

land between the greek and turkish border. there have been efforts to round up migrants who have been sleeping i in camps on the stres or the parksks around the zone, and several of them said that they were being told that they could either return to istanbul, or try their luck getting into greece. be very much thee line. there have been tensions atat ts border crossing behind me, which has been sealed off by turkish police, so there was tear gas fired at migrants, trying to get through the greek border. the turkish president told reporters on his plane coming back from the talks in moscow said that this was a done deal. we have open the borders and we do not want to waste anymore time talking about this. publicly he is not changing his tone on this issue. >> you have been speaking to

refugees about the conditions that they are experiencing. have they been telling you? the people in the camps here at the turkish border have been describing the dire conditions indeed. it has been a week since the president announced that he was opening the borders to europe which saw thousands of people and into this border zone, they have been sleeping out under the open sky, some of them making makeshift shelter but with very little facilities, and we have been seeing videos and speaking to migrants inside of this exclusion zone around the border where there are thousands of migrants. they have been showing us pictures of long lines of people waiting for food. that information was given to us by a turkish mp.

national unity government. the people i have spoken to speak of scenes of chaosos. bodies lying around and people scrambling to escape the yard where the gathering was taking place. the president condemn t the attack, calling it a crime against humanity. so far, no group has claimed the attack. the e taliban immediately denied any reresponsibility, but it is worth noting that for the past couple of years, most attacks against the minority community, who live in that area in the west, were perpetetratedd by y e afghan branch of the islamic state group, which has been active since the end of 2014. last year, isis targeteted thatt exactt same evevent, so ththey e not claimed at this time around so we can only speculate. but it is worth noting that this attack and event was -- this
