morning with all necessary measures. president obama and other leaders of the world's largest economies will wrap up a two-day economic summit in mexico today. they're going to be ramping up pressure on the european union to take bolder steps to resolve its debt crisis once and for all. tracy pots is in washington for us with the details. tracy, good morning. >> reporter: lynn, good morning. more government spending, not goth cuts, may be the answer to preventing a financial crisis in europe and around the world that. is what we will see in a draft statement. we've seen the draft statement. the final statement expected to come out of the g-20 later today, stating that the biggest countries are ready to spend more. of course, the biggest concern is the euro zone. the 17 nations in europe and whether the problems in spain and in greece with those economies may cause that euro zone to falter. but there are other issues they're dealing with as well, like egypt, the military trying

to strip power from the democratically elected government in syria. that was a big one on the table yesterday as president obama sat down with russia's president vladimir putin. they said that they had commonalities. the president said that they agreed that the violence needs to end, but not a lot of specifics there, especially when it comes to whether or not syria's president needs to go. elsewhere, new evidence was released in the trayvon martin murder case yesterday, and it included jail calls from george zimmerman to her husband, proving she lied when she said she and her husband were broke. nbc's jay gray has that story. >> we are hearing more from the man who shot and killed trayvon martin. six recordings of jailhouse phone calls between zimmerman and his wife shelley. they talk about their love for each other, confidence in his

legal council, and buying bulletproof vests for themselves and their attorney. >> i want you wearing one. i want o'meara having one. >> prosecutors say the recording also reveals zimmerman providing his wife with detailed instructions on how to access ak account. they discuss the funds in code, calling paypal peter pan and never revealing how much they have. >> take your ten out first. at the institution, see if you can put ten into hers right away and see if you can put that ten out and put it in the box there. >> prosecutors say when they talk about ten, the zimmermans are actually discussing $10,000, and that despite telling the judge they were broke, the zimmermans actually had access

to at least $130,000 when bond was set. that bond was revoked and zimmerman was sent back to jail, his wife was arrested on the charge of making a false statement. still, his attorney has down played the allegations. >> though they weren't honest with judge lester at first, that it was disclosed four days later. the money was transferred and taken care of. >> a new bond hearing for george zimmerman is scheduled for next week. and here's your first look at some of the other news going on around america today. in florida, it was just an amazing sight. doctors removed a three-foot spear from a teenage boy's head. he accidentally impaled just before heading out on a spear fishing trip. surgeons had to actually use a metal cutter just to be able to place his head in a cat scan device. they say the 16-year-old is now out of intensive care and recovering. unreal. an arizona massive flames and numerous small explosions

destroyed a warehouse used by a plumbing wholesaler. strong winds fueled the fire and heavy smoke could be seen for miles. the cause is under investigation. no one was hurt. in virginia beach, a driver says her foot slipped and that is the result. her car came crashing through the front doors of a sandwich shop. three people including a baby were inside the car and four people were inside the store, but thankfully, no serious injuries. and finally, in minnesota. this is skevey. anything but a dream home. broken pipes and water combine to cover the house in mold. neighbors started seeing the disgusting sight back in march and now authorities say it will finally be cleaned up. now for your national weather, here's your weather channel forecast. >> what would you rather have, the mold or bedbug?
