we begin this morning with a day to reflect. 11 years ago today, terrorists attacked this country in an unprecedented asult killing nearly 3,000 people. today, ceremonies will be held in three locations. including the world trade center. daniele joins us from ground zero. good morning. >> good morning. the pools behind me will feature six moments of silence. they will have a ring of the names of the victims. it will be smaller than in years past. one year after their debut, these reflecting pools sitting in place of the fallen world towers will once again be front and center. while is country isn't forgetting the people lost in the september 11th terrorist attacks. this year much is changed. last year, politicians were asked not to speak.

only relatives will read the names of the victims on this 11th anniversary. president obama will stay in washington and participate in ceremonies at the white house and pentagon. monday, families already gathered near pennsylvania will gather with leon panetta. they died fighting to keep the plane from reaching the capital. >> they gave their lives for all they loved. they gave their lives for the families they loved and for the country they loved. and there is no greater sacrifice. >> back in lower manhattan construction is sitting there. the port authority that owns the sight battled over the financing for the foundation. >> on the eve of 9/11, we are able to announce an agreement that will ensure the completion of the 9/11 museum. >> without a museum, this

temperatures coming up. i wanted to mention the latest with leslie. the tropical storm should make land fall in new finland. the system is racing forward and 40 miles per hour. a lot of the business side is to the north. really starting to see the better impacts there now. going forward, we are going to see the system break off to the north. it should weaken for the afternoon and into this evening. quick look to the south and west of the system, very quiet across the 95 corridor. southern portions of florida, better chances for showers. quiet through many of the eastern major cities. quiet toward chicago. you can see the action in the four corners. we'll see that spilling out to the north and east. denver, may see a chance for a thunderstorm late this afternoon. better chances tomorrow. behind this, we'll see chings in temperatures for billings.
