after being admitted for a stomach infection. we have an update on the queen's condition. >> reporter: buckingham palace puts a very positive spin on the queen's admission into that hospital yesterday for what officials are calling a precautionary measure to treat a boug bout of a stomach bug. she's in good spirits, though those who know her are probably feeling a bit annoyed by all of the fuss. this is uncharted territory for the queen, she maintains a extreme schedule of daily events. she hasn't been in the hospital for ten years. it's a measure of the esteem that many brits hold for their queen. many were stunned when they learned that she would be cancelling all of her
