government contractor and former cia employee who leaked the existence of two high-profile nsa surveillance programs. he revealed his identity through "the guardian." the uk newspaper. he reportedly packed up his hawaii apartment and moved suddenly to hong kong in may claiming a need for medical treatment, he had been a consulting job for the nsa for less than three months. he said that he never expects to see his home again, adding his eyes are wide open about what might lie ahead. >> i could be, you know, rendered by the cia, i could have people come after me and any of their third-party partners. the consulate here in hong kong, i'm sure they're going to be very busy for the next week. and that's a fear i'll live

under my life. you can't forward against the world's most powerful intelligence agencies and be completely free from risks. no one can meaningfully oppose them. >> director of national intelligence james clapper has called the leaks gut-wrenching. confirm a criminal investigation is under way. >> i know your reporter that you interviewed greenwald said that he has it all and is an expert on the program, he hasn't got a clue on this works. taking a very sensitive classified program that targets foreign person on foreign lands and putting just enough out there to be dangerous is dangerous to us and our national security and it violates the

that. i think that the u.s. will first and foremost go through chinese authorities and ask for extradition. >> what does this say when someone at the lower level can access this information? >> you need thousands and thousands of people actually doing the hour to hour, minute to minute, day-to-day staff. >> you know, it's funny, back in the pentagon papers they're actually hard documents now everybody needs access to this electronically. maybe we have to shift focus a little bit. >> again, it came up after wi wikileaks, a way to limit stuff that goes everywhere with tremendous speed. again, you're limited. people need to know. if you're dealing with whatever the numbers are, unlimited amounts of data you need people to operate the machine.

can be shown in court, among them, a video captured on trayvon martin cell phone. the defense has argued that the video could help authentic the person heard on the 911 yelling help is trayvon martin as the prosecution claims or george zimmerman, george zimmerman has pleaded not guilty. the death toll from friday's santa monica shooting spree now stands at five. he's 23-year-old, investigators said that he was heavily armed when he rampaged through the city carrying an assault rifle. he allegedly shot five people near a community college before he was shot and killed by police. >> i would presume anyone puts on a vest, has a handgun, semiautomatic rifle and carjacks
