terrorist, the potential terrorist events over 50 times since 9/11. >> during these hearings, two examples of successful of nsa surveillance programs were cited. one of a group sending money to a group in somalia and a bombing of the new york stokes exchange. the phone records obtained by the nsa are destroyed after five years. the republican-led house has passed a bill restricting abortions, reigniting a debate that doomed several candidates. it passed eed mostly along part lines. the bill, though, is unlikely to

be considered by the democrat-led senate. a controversial decisions is being held by some health experts as a breakthrough in the fight against obesity. they'll recognize obesity as a disease potentially opening the door for a widespread treatments. it's not clear what extent insurers will cover treatments. one-third of adults in the american are considered obese. some sad news to report, journalist and war correspondent michael hastings has died. a statement on buzzfeed's website said that the young reporter was killed in a car crash early tuesday morning. he's best known for his expose say of general stanley mcchrystal. hastings spoke about his report
