funeral. that later in the cooler. we begin this morning with news of the justice department has identified the man they believe is behind the leak of a highly classified cyber attack to disrupt iran's nuclear program. legal sources tell nbc news the man at the center of the doj's investigation is retired marine general james cartwright, a former vice chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. cartwright is being looked at for allegedly leaking information pertaining to a computer attack on iran's nuclear facilities using a virus called stuxnet. late last year fbi agents shifted their investigation from white house aids to cartwright who informally advised president obama on national security issues. cartwright is only a target of the justice department's investigation and has not been formally charged with any crime. after months of speculation the senate has passed a wide-ranging immigration reform bill. the first of its kind in nearly 30 years. this is basically what the plan does. it grants 11 million

undocumented immigrants legal status and a 13-year path to citizenship creating a guest worker program and adding $30 billion worth of border protection. the plan was put forth by the so-called gang of eight which does include republican senator marco rubio facing harsh criticism from his party on the bill. republican krits iblgs have called the bill amnesty, comparing it to reagan's attempt to reform immigration in the 1980s. for rubio and other hispanic lawmakers it is the first part of a deeply personal victory. >> i come here thinking of what this bill will mean for families and come here thinking of my family, of my mother, who came from cuba, worked hard and made it possible for me to stand here today, one of 100 united states senators, on the verge of passing a historic piece of legislation that she would have wanted me to vote for. >> my father had someone phonetically write on a small

scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker. >> that was nbc's chuck todd reporting. let's get to the boston marathon bombing case. dzhokhar has been indicted on 30 counts for his alleged role in the deadly boston attacks back in april. more than half of the charges carry the possibility of a death sentence and the indictments carried with them new revelations, including the details of the note sar naev skraulds on and he wrote in part, the u.s. government is killing innocent civilians. i can't stand to see such evil go unpunished. we muslims are one body. you hurt one, you hurt us all. things are getting personal in the lone star state. speaking of the national right to life convention? dallas, texas, governor rick perry accused state senator wendy davis of highjacking the democratic process during her 11 hour filibuster of the state's most recent abortion bill. he went on to say davis'

last person to speak to trayvon martin over the phone 19-year-old rachel jeantel took the stand in the murder trial of george zimmerman. she cross examined her looking for discrepancies over what she has said in court and in past testimony. >> so you made the decision then not to tell mr. crump that you'd actually heard trayvon martin say, get off, get off, because you were in a hurry? >> yes, sir. because crump is not law enforcement. >> so you weren't worried about telling him first of all the truth or the whole story? >> first of all, crump is not law enforcement. he's not an officer. i knew that he was not an officer. so like i told the mother, from the beginning, if officer wants to talk to me, know the exact story, everything about what happened that night, then you'll reach me at my number. you got it?

>> jeantel said she assumed a fight took place that night but is it not learn about martin's death until two days later. george zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder and has pleaded not guilty saying it was in self-defense. the murder investigation involving former new england patriots tight end aaron hernandez expanding to include two more suspects and now he's being investigated in a separate double homicide case date back to last year. hernandez was denied bail yesterday. another man, carlos ortiz, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and another man is still at large, is considered a suspect as an accessory after the fact. "the boston globe" is reporting hernandez is being investigated for a possible role in a double murder from 2012 and that odin lloyd, the victim, found dead in an industrial park near hernandez's home may have known about that story. investigators told "the globe" a fight broke out at a night club between two men and a group that may have included hernandez. the two men were shot and killed

in their bmw as they drove away from the club. hundreds pay tribute to one of the most iconic tv actors of his time yesterday. james gandolfini died when he was just 51 years old last week. the pictures of those in attendance, well, they're pretty incredible to see. everyone from celebrities to cast members to gandolfini's real-life son michael, who was with him in italy when he died. there he is right there. during the service, the show's creator david chase gave his eulogy in the form of a personal letter saying gandolfini was a man in the way he wishes he could be. >> not a business where investors hope to keep the rally going on wall street. the markets logging their best three-day streak in almost a year. for more on that story and the rest of the business headlines geoff cutmore live in london. good morning. >> hey, good morning to you, brian. we're up 2.75% on the s&p. 2.6% on the dow. and these are the strongest

unable to apply because they arrived in the u.s. after 1982. but were unaware of the changes that granted them amnesty. lewis, back on the cooler, we missed you. >> thanks, brian. we know alex baldwin known for his temper. remember the phone call he left on his daughter's voicemail. the latest outburst after james gandolfini's funeral which he attended with his pregnant wife. a writer for "the daily mail" reported she tweeted condolences to and go feneny, retweeted a rachel ray tweet with her recipe and asked for wedding anniversary advice. she was outraged about the tweet, but that was nothing about how baldwin responded. went on a rant saying his wife did not use her phone and the most of the rest of the rant isn't fit for tv but at one point he did threaten the writer saying, i'm going to find you, george stark, you toxic little blank. going to blank you up. baldwin has disabled his twitter account.

very talented guy, has no self-control, twitter probably a bad idea for him. moving to toronto's mayor rob ford, a couple tough weeks in the spotlight after allegations surfaced he could be seen in a video smoking crack. he has denied the charges and vowed to run again for re-election and might have good reason to. a new poll out shows ford's approval has gone up in the last month by 5 points, now at 47%. five points from a month ago. who knew crack and politics mix. maybe it does. now we move on to martha stewart, doing a lot of talking lately, found herself in the headlines recently when she told the world she joined match.com. last night on "watch what happens live" she made more admissions during a segment called did martha do it. have you had a one night stand? maggie? >> oh, yes. >> yes. >> martha?
