space station. this is "way too early" on a wednesday. good morning, everybody. brian shackman here on july 17th. we have a 275 pound all-star hitting out a triple in the all-star game. you can probably guess who it was. really only two candidates. i won't give it away. we'll see that in sports in a few minutes. we'll begin with what seems like a tom clancy spy novel. authorities find some soviet missile radar components apparently smuggled aboard a north korean ship. pan amainian authorities boarded a ship after what is called a violent five-day standoff with the crew. many were only reportedly armed with sticks. the captain reportedly faked a

heart attack and then tried to commit suicide. now hidden amongst some 200,000 stacks of cuban sugar was an antiquated radar system that is used for guiding missiles. they tweeted out a photo of the hardware. panama says the shipment violates united nations sanctions. cuba was open in its response describing the cargo, 240 tons of obsolete antiaircraft missile systems. they were being sent there for repair and would later be returned. the question is why is it hidden in all that sugar. anyway, moving forward. the focus placed on the george zimmerman trial is now shifting to the controversial law at the center of the deadly shooting. u.s. attorney general eric holder spoke about the stand your law ground yesterday saying it encourages, quote, violent situations to escalate. >> it's time to question laws that senselessly expand the

>> i'm running because i believe it is necessary for a new generation of leaders to step up to the plate. i'm running because i know as a mother and a patriot we can no longer afford to simply go along to get along. >> here's the problem. cheney will challenge long standing republican senator mike enzi. she announced her candidacy yesterday. enzi and cheney have been friends for decades. when asked he replied, i thought we were friends. other lawmakers have circled around the incumbent. john borosso backed enzi. cynthia loomis called cheney's announcement called, quote, bad form. there's an unlikely coalition forming. ted cruz and rand paul aligning themselves with kirsten gillibrand in the way the military handles sexual assault
