per hour when he should have been just going 49. he's under investigation. the death toll has climbed to 80. among the dead was a woman. she was traveling with her husband and her daughter, who are listed in stable condition. >> our car flipped over. it became chaos. things flew and everything. there was sudden darkness and i was kind of thrown on one side of the train. my wife unfortunately, she was sitting on the side where the train flipped over so everything kind of fell on her. her ears were full of blood. not a pretty sight. all she wanted me to do was to hug her. that's all i could do. >> unbelievable story. also, we have some new

insight about what went wrong aboard a southwest airplanes flight that had a hard landing at laguardia airport. it actually landed with its nose gear first. because of landing angles, it's back first. it skidded more than 2,000 feet before stopping. the rough landing left 11 people injured. on monday anthony weiner was the front-runner to become mayor of new york city. christine quinn now leads the former congressman 25 to 16. he's dropped nine points from last month. weiner has forfeited his lead among women voters as well. one number that is growing for weiner, the amount of women with whom he admits exchanging with messages. those include, the ones that he messaged after he resigned from congress.

voter discrimination is found. we believe that the state of texas should be required to go through a preclearance process whenever it changes its voting laws and practices. >> the decision by the justice department is expected to trigger several legislation fights. holder said that this would not be the only challenge by the doj to protect voting rights. we could similar action in other states. congressman paul ryan once again voicing his concerns over president obama's ability to lead the nation. >> i don't think i have heard a single new thing in these speeches. i don't think it's a good approach. one reason i ran against him in the last campaign. he's pushing the same old ideas that proven to fail. he's pushing big-government regulations and taxes and spending, that actually make it harder to create jobs.

that she owes trayvon martin's family apology. trayvon martin's mother said that she was devastated to hear those remarks. lawyers for accused cleveland kidnapper ariel castro are reportedly trying to cut a deal with prosecutors if he takes the reported plea deal avoid facing the death penalty. in exchange he would spend the rest of his life behind bars. castro is accused of kidnapping three women and holding them captive for more than a decade. the three women and young girl were rescued on may the 6th and jury selection is scheduled to begin in august. federal prosecutors have filed charges against a group of hackers of selling credit card

numbers. major companies like jc penneys, jetblue, among others, with victims of the scheme. the hackers have identified as four russian nationals and a ukranian. sell america credit card numbers for $10. two of the men were arrested in the netherlands last year. the other three remain at large. halliburton admits that it destroyed evidence to simulation showing different scenarios of how to brace cementing on the rig. the company will enter into a plea agreement, which includes three years of probation, a maximum fine of $200,000 and continue cooperating with the justice department.

time now for sports evidence piling up against new england former tight end aaron hernandez according to authorities, these photos were allegedly taken from hernandez's home security cameras the night odin lloyd was killed. the murder weapon has not been found, however, defense attorneys have objected to the court's decision to release the records to the public saying it undermines hernandez's chances at a fair trial. he's pleaded not guilty. let's go to baseball and some stuff on the field. nationals. pirates facing off in washington. they blow a four-run to let the pirates tie it up. bryce harper with a chance to play hero.
