to some sense of normalcy. >> one national guardsman in custody and two more injured after an altercation in tennessee. it's not clear what started the incident, but one of the guardsmen, a recruiter pulled a handgun out and shot the other two who were his superiors in the leg and foot. the suspect is in the brig, and he had been with the national guard for six years. two american sailors have been kidnapped off the nigerian coast. the navy is attempting search and rescue for the captain and engineer. "the new york times" reports the ship a 200-foot supply ship, the kind that is becoming increasingly pop target for

attacks by pirates in that region. and then enough for a nuclear bomb in one month. there has been mixed assessments about tehran's abilities. the white house pressing for more time to negotiate while some members of congress looking to tighten already tough sanctions on that country. israel vowed military action to keep iran from obtaining the bomb. here in the u.s., the statistics on prescription drug abuse are startling. prescription pills account for 75% of deadly drug overdoses and now the fda trying to do something about it. the government is moving forward on a plan to tighten controls on painkillers that contain the narcotic, hydrocodone.
