some stories making news this morning. police involving a custody dispute. a 3-year-old boy died after his father threw him off the roof of a high-rise apartment building. the dad then jumped to his own death. in russia, a member of an

all-female punk rock band left jail. she received a controversial prison sentence for protesting inside a church against president putin. in a rare move they were granted early release last week from mr. putin himself. a british airways 747 jet was on his way from south africa to london, but as you can see, the wing of a jumbo jet ran into a building before takeoff. 182 passengers were on board. they all got off safely. check this out. video from oklahoma. shoppers at one mall got quite the surprise over the weekend. falling ice. some pieces were as long as five feet. no reports of any injuries, luckily. beyonce stopped by a massachusetts walmart friday after she did holiday shopping herself. she got on the store's loud speakers and said the first $50 of every shopper's holiday gifts were on her. that's a santa's helper.

enrollees, to offset those who might need more premiums over time, it could collapse. could be higher premiums for everybody and that could be a problem for those looking for more affordable health care that the obama administration promised. the obama administration is holding off. they don't want to put on any more delays. they're saying what you'll see is over time whether a lot of those meet the deadlines or march 31st deadline. they saw that in mitt romney's plan. >> let's shift gears. speaking of president obama. he signaled he may halt nsa's collection of american phone records and require phone companies to hold the data. does this suggest he's changing views? >> he's going to take some recommendations and put them into practice. the white house says on his

vacation in hawaii right now, he's considering this, looking through this report carefully with his advisers. he'll give a public speech to the country early next year, as soon as he gets back from vacation to talk about this. the administration, even while adopting some recommendations, they are also standing by a lot of surveillance techniques saying they believe they're keeping the country safer. they'll try to strike a balance. whether they go far enough for liberals, saying they need to roll some program back. even foreign leaders, i don't know. there may still be convincing to do even after he makes these public remarks. >> lastly, because i know you have inside knowledge, any idea what president obama wants for christmas? >> we don't know. a couple years ago he got delayed by congress he went on a public shopping spree. he we don't know what he wants. he probably wants people to sign up for health care, number one. as far as his own personal gifts, that's nothing he revealed to us. >> higher approval ratings?
