i'm veronica de la cruz. it has happened again. a commercial airliner landing at the wrong airport. southwest flight 4013 was on its way to branson, missouri, but it landed at a smaller airport nearby with a much shorter runway. 129 people were on board. the airlines say no one was hurt but passengers say they immediately knew something was wrong. >> well, it was a really rough landing. we were all moving pretty close to the seats as we were landing because the runway was too short for the plane. they came on and said we had landed at the wrong runway. >> all of the sudden, you just smelled rubber really strong, like through the whole cabin. we all looked at each other like, something is not right. >> a southwest crew from the wright airport got everybody where they needed to go. it is not clear what caused the incident. it is the second time in two months a large jet has landed at the wrong airport. to west virginia where hundreds of thousands of

families are starting another week without clean water. this morning, relief may be in site. new samples appear to show toxins fading from the water supply. there is still no timeline from where people can use their water. some 300,000 people have been ordered not to use their tap water. a coal cleaning chemical leaked na the elk river virtually poisoning the water supply. now, to a cnbc exclusive. the head of target speaking out the first time since the massive da data breach. why did the company wait four days to go public? they wanted to secure their systems before alerted some 70 million customers. >> what we do know, there was m malware installed on our point of sale registers. that much, we established. we removed that. clearly, we are accountable and we are responsible but we're going to come out at the end of

political headlines with no shortage of new jersey governor, chris christie, on sunday. >> ft. lee always will open your arms to a sitting governor. he came, it was candid. i thought it was a productive conversation. i take him at his word. there is a lot of stuff out there. >> things go wrong and frankly, he was in campaign mode at the time. during campaign mode, you miss a lot of things. your not paying as much attention. we see that with benghazi. >> i believe the governor is somebody who pays very close attention to a lot of details in his state, particularly when it comes to transportation. he knows the details of these things. obviously, i, like others, will take him at his word. >> pew research says after christie's epics, 45% of tweets were critical and 25% in his defense. the supreme court will referee the debate on whether president obama can make temporary high-level

official tie from christie. all the e-mails don't establish whether he was informed or involved. we don't know. until we get to that point, it is tough to see where it goes from here. certainly, if he is tied to it, his blanket denials would suggest he would be in very serious political jeopardy, if not have his job be in jeopardy. >> he is preparing for new jersey's state of the state. it happens tomorrow. aaron, what does he need to say and what do you make of the way he has been handling the fallout? >> i think the press conference was a successful one, as successful as you can be under the circumstances. he spoke for almost two hours and asked all the reporters questions, basically. generally, you don't want to sit up there and talk for that long but if you can do it and not
