powerful 6.9 magnitude quake struck near the border with oregon. there are no reports of damage and no threats of a tsunami, the u.s. geological survey said more than 300,000 people reported feeling the jolt. three days later accident still no word on what happened to that missing malaysian jet. no terror group has claimed responsibility and that no electronic chatter has been detected. dismissed reports that one of the plane's yellow life rafts had been spotted in the ocean. keir simpson? >> reporter: good morning, the families of those who are missing continue to wait here for news as they have through the weekend, among those missing said to be three americans, two children, and one a 51-year-old
